Wish you could figure out how to put some Bruce, Thorne, or Henry driving ability in a jar, I'd buy a whole bunch of it!
Kev,
I'd say "No can do, Bubbaloo", but Joe sort of disagrees below.
Sano Dave did
I had one in my F1 car.
Probably the key in you making the A Main. LOL.
BTW, your eighth place lap total in the Can-Am PD A Main was the highest eighth/last place total ever at the Sano... so you got that goin' for ya.

Greg VanPeenen has asked me to produce the modified nosepiece along with a lightened version of guide brace, time frame to be determined, but realistically, not in the next two weeks.
Interesting, I thought that's what R-Geo just released...

There ya go! LOL.
Motor hung a brush. Checked it out last night. Must have been from the wind velocity Matt caused.

Joe,
Probably time to change your nickname.

Interesting, I thought that's what R-Geo just released...
Yes, John.
That is what R-Geo just released. But some prefer the prototypes the way they are. If I have to keep cutting up the older JK chassis by hand I would have to sell them for $275 to $300 or more each.
That is why I asked Mike if he could have the front section and pans made. Nothing interesting there, just good business. Giving people what they ask for. Some like R-Geo, some like the JK, it is what it is. The was no fee charged for the design and Rick has it out already.
I have more in the works and I will more then likely do the same thing with that. Project name Domesday. But I have to work on a new F1 and RetroPro and that will take awhile. So the other will have to wait.
Regards,
GVP

Thanks for mentioning that.
My mind is still a bit foggy from the weekend.
I guess that makes it a sweep in the Puppy Dog / "expert" classes.
BTW, the Can-Am A Main, along with a new distance record for the winner, Matt Bruce with 299-1/3 laps, with seven Versa-brackets, also holds the record for total laps by all eight racers, with 2,319 laps (289-7/8 average), surpassing the 2,300 laps (287-3/4 average) achieved previously at the epic Sano 5 A Main.

Congrats to Duran Trujillo on his Can-Am win at the Summer Classic at BP Raceway, using a Chicagoland Raceway 2 degree bracket on his Greg VanPeenen built chassis.
The chassis also featured a Chicagoland Raceway coined steel guide tongue brace.
Mike,
Duran has won four in a row with that car on the King at BP. He is going to get one of the new ones to try shortly.
I would love to see Duran, Matt, Cap, Ralph, Sano Dave, Wes P., Mike Iles, and KVP running in an A Main. I would pay to watch that race.

Greg Van Peenen has asked me to produce the modified nosepiece
This is coming along fine.
Geary started on the drawing yesterday and I'm guessing will start cutting them sometime today.
They will have a feature, which won't effect it being extremely close to the GVP ones originating from the JK nosepiece,
but will give builders a possible useful option to try on extremely fast tracks like Gerding Kings.

Congrats to Cap Henry on winning both F1 and Can-Am at the BRS race at Rt. 93 this past Saturday.
Cap used a 1" C/R bracket in F1 and a 3/4" C/R bracket in Can-Am, setting record lap totals in both classes.

Congrats to Tracy Chin on his podium finish at the final Checkpoint Cup, in F1, against the BP regulars, using a Cap Henry built chassis, using the Versa-bracket and a C/R coined steel Versa-tongue.
Sidebar comment; IMO, Tracy, getting involved in Retro racing has made it that much cooler. What a ferocious competitor!
