After all, we know what Duffy drives!
Well, you know what Philippe drives!
How does he get his slot box in?
So what type of car are you slot car racers driving? This is for fun!

I drive a 1993 Honda Civic DX with a five-speed. It's paid for .
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

Since you took that picture in downtown San Diego, I got my Smart fixed up and now it has wheel locks.

Ford Fusion and a PT Cruiser. Gas is now $3.95 here in Chicago 'burbs but these two get great mileage.

That's Ron Southern's ride parked in front of SCR in Rohnert Park, CA. The white pickup in the background belongs to Paul Gawronski and that front bumper parked next to it is my Infiniti G37s coupe.
How can you tell that this is a slot racer's car?

The last one is a 1960 Ford Starliner... All custom... Look close... no window vent. Has 460 big block, power windows, disc brakes, R&P steering... This bad boy gets it. The only problem is the 8 dollar a gallon fuel cost to drive it... LOL

All three cars are awesome. Love the Sport Roadster. I have one, too... it's a 1/25 kit by AMT.
My first car was a 1962 Mercury Monterey four door with a 390 and automatic. I used to tell people I would get 18 miles per gallon with it... 9 in town and 9 on the road. The engine was bone stock with an Autolite four-barrel flat top carb on it. I used to choke when gas went to 40¢ per gallon.

Even knowing gas prices are that high, it still gets driven once and a while... LOL... but not much.. The 'Bird only gets driven on nice days. It's cool.
Yeah, my first car was a '71 Nova with a big block... Wish I still had that one... bought it for 400 bucks, too.

Sure wish I had that one today!! Oh yeah, I also had the red lights under the dash.
Sorry to go off topic, Nesta, but I guess we can all say we wished we had some of the cars we had years ago.

We call that the "Shoulda and Coulda" song and virtually every car collector sings it from time to time..
"I shoulda kept that 289 Cobra I owned in the late '70s..."
"In 1963, I coulda bought a Duesenberg for $1,000..."

Do you know that you could probably own a nice house for what that Cobra would be worth today? I recently saw one go for $1.2 Million at auction. Heck, even the kit cars are bringing some good money!
