I see nothing wrong with it.

But...but...People where complaining about my Car being in Chicago getting EXTRA tuning help, just to make it run. Trimming of the BODY!
and now a racer can tune there own car for better performance, just because they could?

Oh,well

Hey, he never said a thing about tuning and I trust Barney to leave his car alone just as I would leave mine alone! Running yes, adjusting or changing anything NO!

Your car was fixed because there was a screwup in construction and it was BEFORE the race started.

I nominate Brian McPherson for the next Proxy Director.
He qualifies.
He is a rules stickler, communicates well, experienced, fair, good head on his shoulders, unbiased, honest, trustworthy, industry member, he is the best choice.

Not to take anything away from Jairus, he has done a SUPER job - a job to be proud of and emulated, but has already announced this will be his last one. :)

I ran my own car for 4-5 laps just to see how it ran. It needed no "tuning". I never got to even try it out before I sent it on anything but red lane for 5 mins or so...as my wife and I were at a family party in Long Beach the only day I had to check it out. We live 48 miles away so I cut out for about a 1/2 hr. to drive to BPR and run it and then hauled a$$ back before anyone knew I was gone. I sent it out the next day. I just wanted to have a chance to try it out before it gets sent all over the world. Who knows it could come back in pieces and I would have never got drive it. So fire me.....

If you do not believe me you can call BPR and ask Jeff how long I ran it on the King. Everybody's car got attention if needed at Mikes and our race, from taping bodies up where cracks started to adjustment of gears to bending back stock body mounts on every car using them etc.... It is possible that anyone complaining.... cars got a little extra attention as well.......

We just wanted a good race and if the car died racing .... well it died. Duran replacing a spring on a car while they continued to race was just so the car could get back into the fray.

Some just might be jealous that Barney got to play with the cars.

With Barney pulling off the "Legends Edition of the 2011 Dynamic Challenge" and not even racing, I say "have at it". :clapping:
Race directors..."Have fun" and share the joy of watching these diverse cars come alive. :D

Replacement body for Blacklight completed, sprayed up and mailed as of the morning of 4th July. Following hot on the heels of Blacklight herself. lol.

I think I may do a few more spares in advance. hahaha.

Okay boys and girl.
I did some calculations regarding Replatron Dyna-Slider. After three races I determined that my car has covered exactly 11 miles, 867 feet on the track!
(Distance traveled while testing and during qualifications remain unknown)
Cool huh? :)
