Decal ID please.
I searched and searched but couldn't come up with anything on these Thomas Chevrolet/Sid's Auto Parts decals.
I'm going to do a "Impala Saved' on this very cool Chevy drag car.
A wonderful gift from Don S.. Thanks Don!!!

This is a Mercedes that I bought and detailed back in 1990.
It's a Parma factory 3 color paint job and I added a Noose interior to it today.
It looks like it was cut at the factory with a hot knife.
I will post the back story behind this RTR car.

So, to take the title of this post literally, G-Bob and I have teamed up for a build that will end up in the next Proxy drag race. You might say Im the sponsor and backer and supplier of parts and He is the builder/ crafter. The idea was to try and recreate a car I had back in my early days (mid 60s). A Kemtron powered, Dynamic chassis and BIG Dynamic slicks GS Vette. With parts gathered G-Bob went to building. Here is his lists of parts followed with some photos !
What it is:
1.Dynamic - chassis, body mount and rolling stock
2.Lancer - Corvette GS body - donated by Don S.
3.Kemtron - 503x Wasp 6 volt
4.K&B - 14t 48p pinion
5.Speed torque - 50t 48p 'Super-Lite" aluminum spur gear
I didn't do any fine detail work to things like the oil cooler, tail lights, side vents, grill, side pipes...etc just to keep the look of a Hot Wheels car or a 60s out of the box RTR.

FS,
IIRC, Pablo did a detailed play by play on doing decals on the inside here on slotblog.
How I've done it if spraying.

A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

Thanks Dom,
So far a braid sparking 1.44 pass was the best without the wheelie bars on.
