We had inquires about practice. We will be open for practice on the following Saturdays from 6-11pm. Plus the Friday before a race. All we ask is for a $5.00 donation to cover heat.

The Old Time Modifieds race will have an Award of gas-gift cards and will be 30 lap segments. *If we get at least 8 racers we will have the Sponsored Awards for 1-12-2013. We will continue the rewards one class per race (rotating classes) for the rest of the scheduled races if we maintain 8 racers per event. If 1-7 racers 25 lap segments no award.

Also our friends on January 26 2013 at Scale Speed Raceway in Dover Pa will be hosting its first Dirt Car Dash for Cash. 5 classes with 100% pay out for each race. 50% to first 30% to second and 20% for third. 25 lap segments per race in the following classes, Legends, 1/32^nd Dirt Modified, 1/24^th Late Model , Old Time Reading Modified, and 1/32^nd Sprint Cars.

Doors open at 9 am tech opens at 12 and closes at 12:45. 1^st race starts at 1. All cars tech at once and run straight threw. 15 min. intermission between races unless everyone is ready to start the next race. $5 pit pass $3 entry fee for each class. The more that come and plays the bigger the pay.

Dirt Car Challenge Series 2012-2013

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club

Is presenting a 6 race 5 division Fall Dirt Car Challenge Series to support our club's missions.

 

We will open on Saturday mornings at 7.15am and we will be racing at 10am sharp or earlier if everyone is ready. Tech will be from 9.20am till 9.50am then no more cars will be accepted. We will tech all classes and race straight through with a 15 minute break between races.

 

Races will be 25 lap segments for Old Time modified, 1/32 Modified, Winged Sprints, ASSCC Dirt late model.

 

 The Street Stock is a crash and burn class. We are going to run 15 lap segments and have two races with total laps the winner. The other rotating fifth class races are 20 lap segments.

 

The classes are in order to be run.  Old Time Modified, 1/32 Dirt Modified, ASSCC Dirt Late Model, Winged Sprint Cars. The rotating fifth class. I.e. (Silver crown cars, 1/32 DLM, Legends, Street Stocks, Vw Bugs).

 

The donation is $20.00 covering all races and coffee.

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club rules apply to all classes

 

. We will have box plaque awards for the top three in points except rotating fifth class.

 

 Must be an ASSCC member to collect any rewards or points or door prizes.

 

Updated Rules are on our web site. Here is a quick summary of new changes.

1. No plastic rim tires.
2. No wonder rubber only foam or natural tires.
3. Street stocks are using break out time. (2.00)
4. No Trinity Evil9 or Fast Ones Demon motors.
5. 1/24 DLM 9 pinion only.
6. No oil or braid juice during mains unless over 25 lap segments.(heats, Consi, feature , etc)
7. No Glue You may clean tires with tiger’s milk and love lotion or R/C tire traction between segments and races.
8. 3 off rule (eliminated) and crash placement. Check general rules
9. Added new 5^th class vw bugs. Check rules.
10. OTM, 1/24LM rules updated. (OTM Height rule, Lm Tire size)
11. You may change tires between segment if you let race director know one segment earlier so they may get tech tools. Changed tire will be teched before you can start next segment.

2. All caged cars must have hook, Body clips taped to chassis for 2-9-2013 race. This is to help move show along.

 

 3. BB modified as 5^th class.  BB Mod rules posted on web. We used the .910 rear and .860 front rules so that you may use Silver Crown tires or OTM tires on the BB modified.

 

4. VW’s and BB mods on March 23, 2013 as 5^th class also open tire rule.

 

5. The new racing order will be 1/24 LM, OTM, Dirt Mod's, Sprints, 5^th class.

 

 

Please check cage wire size on Sprint, Silver Crown cars. Must be 1/16” (.062) Also Silver Crown cars must have ¼” extender added to chassis.

 

 

Track will be semi cleaned and glued for 2-2-2013 practice night.

 

 

We also made OTM right rear tire min to .910.

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club News January 28, 2013

 

We would like to thank the racers from Scale Speed Raceway and Portsmouth Motor Speedway also our local regulars for supporting our clubs mission. Also our sponsors Rick Wildman and http://www.mydoterra.com/cherielstuber

 

We will be participating in the Logan’s walk on city island on April 6, 2013. We will have our booth set up with our portable track.

 

We are planning a open house  tentatively on April 20, 2013 from 9am to 3pm to show our special friends program and also see if there is any interest in forming a junior racers league( 6-13yr olds). We will have cars on display of the divisions we race. Track time will be free. So come on out and make some laps on the track and put a smile on your face!!!!!!!

 

We are planning to have some special races this spring and summer. May, July, September to support our club. Our special friends program runs all year. Ex. National open for Sprints, Otm national open, 1/32 Modifieds national open. Dates to be announced in the near future.

The ASSCC DLM race will have an Award of gas-gift cards and will be 30 lap segments. *If we get at least 8 racers we will have the Sponsored Awards for 2-9-2013. We will continue the rewards one class per race (rotating classes) for the rest of the scheduled races if we maintain 8 racers per event. If 1-7 racers 25 lap segments no award.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is we have had 4 races sponsored the bad news is we still need one more sponsor. Most people know we are looking for additional sponsors for our series and club.

Also our friends on February 23 2013 at Scale Speed Raceway in Dover Pa will be hosting its Second Dirt Car Dash for Cash. 5 classes with 100% pay out for each race. 50% to first 30% to second and 20% for third. 25 lap segments per race in the following classes, Legends, 1/32^nd Dirt Modified, 1/24^th Late Model , Old Time Reading Modified, and 1/32^nd Sprint Cars. Possibly adding 1/32 LM also.

Doors open at 9 am tech opens at 12 and closes at 12:45. 1^st race starts at 1. All cars tech at once and run straight threw. 15 min. intermission between races unless everyone is ready to start the next race. $5 pit pass $3 entry fee for each class. The more that come and plays the bigger the pay.

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club Results and news March 23, 2013

 

We would like to thank the racers for supporting our clubs mission. Our Champions were crowned also.

 

We are having a open house on April 20, 2013 from 9am to 3-pm. WE will have a natural healing booth set up to answer questions and get information and we will also have our track up and running to come play on.

 

We have listened to our racers and tweaked our rules to make racing cheaper and the competition even closer than it all ready is for this falls racing series.

 

We have our Mechanicsburg , PA  T.G.I. Fridays back as a door prize sponsor the $15.00 door prizes was awarded on 3/23/2013 Donnie won the 3-23-2013 door prize.

 

Our new rules will be released by March, 30 2013 for the 2013-2014 falls series. Please read all   the rules including general rules. Looking like we are going to run At ASSCC and at Scale Speed Raceway on the 2^nd and 4^th sat of the month. Dates will be moved for holidays. We will have point fund for combined track series champion. Which will use combined lap totals from the 4 regular scheduled classes from both tracks to determine champion. Donation will stay at $20.00 for 5 or 6 divisions. We are also moving start time up to 11:00am. More to follow.

 

As of 3-24-2013 the point fund is

1^st Place $125.00 gift card.

2^nd Place $75.00 gift card

3^rd Place  $50.00 gift card.

 

We expect this to grow as we obtain more marketing partners and sponsors.

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club

 

Is presenting a 4 race 2 division Summer Championship races to support our club's mission of becoming a charity.

 

We will open on Saturday mornings at 7.45am and we will be racing at 10:30am sharp or earlier if everyone is ready. Tech will be from 10.00am till 10.20am then no more cars will be accepted. We will tech all classes and race straight through with a 15 minute break between races. This is so we can be done early to attend dirt track races in the evening.

 

Races will be 40 lap segments for headline championship class. The support class will race 25 lap segments. ( Time trials or heats will be used. Will announce in the near future)

 

 

The donation is $20.00 covering all races and coffee. $5.00 goes to award. Their will also be a $50.00 value door prize drawn at the last race for racers that race all 4 of the races.

  We had our partner the Sarah Lynn Strohman Foundation here on Saturday June 1^st for our first slot car racing event with the foundation and had 7 participants that had fun with a bunch of smiles and laughter.

 We are having an exciting Open House June 23, 2013 from 9am to 3pm. to help raise awareness of our Special Needs track, a new activity for young and old! From 12:00 pm. to 3:00 pm., we will have a very Special Guest with us who will be giving out free samples and information on the latest and greatest natural health care. There will be people on hand who have tried it and liked it:) And when you love what you see you make arrangements to come back with your friends, family and special friends!! Our community-based track is open to the public. Come put a smile on your face! And make some laps on the track. 

 

Most people know someone in their family, their church or in the community that they want to help reach out and help them live a higher quality of life. We also host birthday parties up to 8 kids at a time. Check us out to learn what our special friends program is about.

 

                 It's has been suggested that we start charging a hourly donation to help us reach our goal of becoming a charity.. We are going to start doing this on June 2nd and beyond. We are going to start charging members $5.00 per person to play with cars and controllers included per visit  and non members $12.00 per person to play with cars and controllers per visit and first visit is free for everyone.

We need to raise $1000.00 to become a non profit and $5500.00 to become a charity. We want to become a charity so we can move our track out into a space were track is available during the week and more hours with the ability to have wheelchair access. For our birthday parties more space and the availability for more types of food to be brought to track for birthday parties. This also will let us give tax deductible receipts to individuals and businesses that want to be marketing partners or sponsors.

 

Please help us reach our goal of becoming a charity and being able to touch more people. We are only at $225.00 so far.

The overall winner will then chose the lane they want to start in for feature. 2^nd and on will also choose lane they want to start in for the feature.

 

Then cars will be re teched for start of the feature.

 

We will run the 1/32lm race then take a 15 min break if needed then run the championship race.

 

The feature will include all racers in round robin format.

Dirt Car Challenge #2 2013-2014

 

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club

 

Is presenting a 12 race 6 division Fall Dirt Car Challenge to support our club's missions.

We will be racing at ASSCC and Scale Speed Raceway rotating monthly.

 

Both tracks will open on Saturday mornings at 8.15am and we will be racing at 11am sharp or earlier if everyone is ready. Tech will be from 10.20am till 10.50am then no more cars will be accepted. We will tech all classes and race straight through with a 15 minute break between races.  Both tracks will be open Friday night before Saturday race for practice with $5.00 practice cost.

 

Races will be 25 lap segments for Old Time modified, 1/32 Modified, Winged Sprints, ASSCC Dirt late model. BB Mods

 

 The Street Stock is a crash and burn class. We are going to run 15 lap segments and have two races with total laps the winner. The other rotating sixth class races are 20 lap segments.

 

The classes to be run in this order.  Old Time Modified, ASSCC Dirt Late Model, 1/32 Dirt Modified,  Winged Sprint Car, .BB Mod.  The rotating 6th class. I.e. (Silver crown cars, 1/32 DLM, Legends, Street Stocks, ?Lego?,).

 

The donation is $20.00 covering all races and Coffee/Snacks.

 

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club rules apply at both tracks and will be strictly enforced.

 

We will be having a point fund for a combined track series champion sponsored by Rocket Chassis. Which will use combined lap totals from the 5 regular scheduled classes from both tracks to determine champion. Top 3 will receive a wall plaques. The top 8 will receive a box plaque.

 

We will also have individual track champions and they will receive wall plaques for the top 3 and box plaques for the top 8.

 

After talking to racers Donnie and Rodney will be running for the overall championship using their combined lap totals from both tracks. Donnie will race at ASSCC and Rodney will race at SSR using their own equipment to make it as fair as possible.

 

As of 5-27-2013 the point fund is:

Rocket Chassis point champion.

1^st Place $125.00 gift card.

No Practice on Fridays for summer racing.

 

 

Race format for 7-13-2013 will be:

 

 Time trials on orange lane for 20 seconds  Drivers will roll dice for Time trial order.

 

Top 4 in time trials get to pick their lane for heat#1 the rest will be filled in according to their time.

 

WE are going to run two sets of heats using 4 lanes rotating down for the first heat and will be 10 laps in distance.(White, Orange, Yellow, Black) Their will be a 5min break between heats. with over all laps determining the winner.

 

The winner of heat#1 will roll a dice for invert for starting positions for heat #2. Invert will be 1,2,3,4,5 and (6) will be 0  Heat 2 will rotate up using the other 4 lanes and will be 12 laps in distance.( Purple, Blue, Green, Red)

 

The overall heats winner will then chose the lane they want to start in for the OTM feature. 2^ndand on will also choose lane they want to start in for the OTM feature.

 

Then cars will be re teched for start of the feature.

 

We will run the Legends race then take a 15 min break if needed then run the championship race.( Might add heat race to give racers more laps)

Dirt Car Challenge #2 2013-2014

 

                                                                      Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club

 

Is presenting a 12 race 6 division Fall Dirt Car Challenge to support our club's missions.

We will be racing at ASSCC and Scale Speed Raceway rotating monthly.

 

Both tracks will open on Saturday mornings at 8.15am and we will be racing at 11am sharp or earlier if everyone is ready. Tech will be from 10.20am till 10.50am then no more cars will be accepted. We will tech all classes and race straight through with a 15 minute break between races.  Both tracks will be open Friday night before Saturday race for practice with $5.00 practice cost.

 

Races will be 25 lap segments for Old Time modified, 1/32 Modified, Winged Sprints, ASSCC Dirt late model. BB Mods

 

 The Street Stock is a crash and burn class. We are going to run 15 lap segments and have two races with total laps the winner. The other rotating sixth class races are 20 lap segments.

 

The classes to be run in this order.  Old Time Modified, ASSCC Dirt Late Model, 1/32 Dirt Modified,  Winged Sprint Car, .BB Mod.  The rotating 6th class. I.e. (Silver crown cars, 1/32 DLM, Legends, Street Stocks, ?Lego?,).

 

The donation is $20.00 covering all races and Coffee/Snacks.

 

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club rules apply at both tracks and will be strictly enforced.

 

 

We will be having a point fund for a combined track series champion sponsored by Rocket Chassis. Which will use combined lap totals from the 5 regular scheduled classes from both tracks to determine champion. Top 3 will receive a wall plaques. The top 8 will receive a box plaque.

 

We will also have individual track champions and they will receive wall plaques for the top 3 and box plaques for the top 8.

 

After talking to racers Donnie and Rodney will be running for the overall championship using their combined lap totals from both tracks. Donnie will race at ASSCC and Rodney will race at SSR using their own equipment to make it as fair as possible.

 

As of 5-27-2013 the point fund is:

Rocket Chassis point champion.

1^st Place $125.00 gift card.

2^nd Place $75.00 gift card

3^rd Place  $50.00 gift card.

4^th Place $25.00 gift card

 We held our Second Summer Championship race and would like to sincerely thank our loyal racers that come and support our program and to our new racers. We expect more racers for the next race do to those racers having cars to race. We have three racers so far that are eligible for the racers $60.00 loyalty door prizes for making all four of our summer championships.

   Our community-based track is open to the public. Come put a smile on your face! And make some laps on the track. 

Most people know someone in their family, their church or in the community that they want to help reach out and help them live a higher quality of life. We also host birthday parties up to 8 kids at a time. Check us out to learn what our special friends program is about.

 

It's has been suggested that we start charging a hourly donation to help us reach our goal of becoming a charity.. We are going to start doing this on June 2nd and beyond. We are going to start charging members $5.00 per person to play with cars and controllers included per visit  and non members $12.00 per person to play with cars and controllers per visit and first visit is free for everyone.

 

We need to raise $1000.00 to become a non profit and $5500.00 to become a charity. We want to become a charity so we can move our track out into a space were track is available during the week and more hours with the ability to have wheelchair access. For our birthday parties more space and the availability for more types of food to be brought to track for birthday parties. This also will let us give tax deductible receipts to individuals and businesses that want to be marketing partners or sponsors.

 

Please help us reach our goal of becoming a charity and being able to touch more people. We are only at $320.00 so far.

Summer Championships

 

 Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club

 

 

Is presenting a 4 race 2 division Summer Championship races to support our club's mission of becoming a charity.

 

 

We will open on Saturday mornings at 7.45am and we will be racing at 10:30am sharp or earlier if everyone is ready. Tech will be from 10.00am till 10.20am then no more cars will be accepted. We will tech all classes and race straight through with a 15 minute break between races. This is so we can be done early to attend dirt track races in the evening.

 

Races will be 40 lap segments for headline championship class. The support class will race 25 lap segments.

 

No Practice on Fridays for summer racing.

 

Race format for 8-10-2013 will be:

 

 Time trials on orange lane for 20 seconds  Drivers will roll dice for Time trial order.

 

Top 4 in time trials get to pick their lane for heat#1 the rest will be filled in according to their time.

 

WE are going to run two sets of heats using 4 lanes rotating down for the first heat and will be 10 laps in distance.(White, Orange, Yellow, Black) Their will be a 5min break between heats. with over all laps determining the winner.

 

The winner of heat#1 will roll a dice for invert for starting positions for heat #2. Invert will be 1,2,3,4,5 and (6) will be 0  Heat 2 will rotate up using the other 4 lanes and will be 12 laps in distance.( Purple, Blue, Green, Red)

 

The overall heats winner will then chose the lane they want to start in for the Dirt Mod feature. 2^nd and on will also choose lane they want to start in for the Dirt Mod feature.

 

Then cars will be re teched for start of the feature.

 

We will run the BB Mod race then take a 15 min break if needed then run the championship race.( Might add heat race to give racers more laps)

 

 

The feature will include all racers in round robin format.

 

The donation is $20.00 covering all races and coffee. $5.00 goes to award.

ASSCC has received the new serial to usb cord to eliminate electrical interference on the track. This will eliminate the issue we have been having . We need to raise $1000.00 to become a non profit and $5500.00 to become a charity. We dearly wish to become a charity so we can move our track out into a space where our track is more available during the week and more hours with the ability to have wheelchair access. For our birthday parties more space and the availability for more types of food to be brought to track for birthday parties. This also will allow us to provide tax deductible receipts to individuals and businesses that want to be marketing partners or sponsors.

Please help us reach our goal of becoming a charity and being able to reach more in our community. We are only at $320.00 so far. We purchased 180 gallons of propane at a reduced cost for this winter to help save money.

Summer Championships

 

 Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club

 

 

Is presenting a 4 race 2 division Summer Championship races to support our club's mission of becoming a charity.

 

 

We will open on Saturday mornings at 7:45 a.m. and we will be racing at 10:30 a.m. sharp or earlier if everyone is ready. Tech will be from 10.00 a.m. Till 10:20 a.m. then no more cars will be accepted. We will tech all classes and race straight through with a 15-minute break between races, so we can be done early to attend dirt track races in the evening.

 

Races will be 40-lap segments for headline championship class. The support class will race 25-lap segments.

 

No Practice on Fridays for summer racing.

 

Race format for 9-28-2013 will be:

 

 Time trials on orange lane for 20 seconds  Drivers will roll dice for Time trial order.

 

Top 4 in time trials get to pick their lane for heat#1 the rest will be filled in according to their time.

We are going to run two sets of heats using 4 lanes rotating down for the first heat and will be 10 laps in distance.(White, Orange, Yellow, Black) Their will be a 5-min break between heats with overall laps determining the winner.

The winner of heat#1 will roll a dice for invert for starting positions for heat #2. Invert will be 1,2,3,4,5 and (6) will be 0  Heat 2 will rotate up using the other 4 lanes and will be 12 laps in distance.( Purple, Blue, Green, Red)

The overall heats winner will then chose the lane they want to start in for the Sprint feature. 2^nd and on will also choose lane they want to start in for the Sprint feature.

Then cars will be re-teched for start of the feature.

We will run the Silver Crown race then take a 15-min break if needed then run the championship race.( Might add heat race to give racers more laps)

 

 

The feature will include all racers in round-robin format.

 

The donation is $20.00 covering all races and coffee/snacks. $5.00 goes to award.

 

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club 2013-2014 rules apply to all classes.

 

We will have wall plaque for winner and box plaque awards for the top 5. (If we have 8 racers box plaques will be issued for top 8. 6 to 8 place finishers plaques will be issued at next race.)

Dirt Car Challenge #2 2013-2014

 

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club

Is presenting a 12 race 6 division Fall Dirt Car Challenge to support our club's missions of becoming a charity.

 

We will be racing at ASSCC and Scale Speed Raceway rotating monthly.

 

Both tracks will open on Saturday mornings no sooner than 8:15 a.m. and we will be racing at 11:00 a.m. sharp or earlier if everyone is ready. Tech will be from 10:20 a.m. Till 10:50 a.m. then no more cars will be accepted. We will tech all classes and race straight through with a 15-minute break between races.  Both tracks will be open Friday night before Saturday race for practice with $5.00 practice cost.

 Races will be 25-lap segments for Old Time modified, 1/32 Modified, Winged Sprints, ASSCC Dirt late model. BB Mods

 

 The Street Stock  classis a crash and burn class. We are going to run 15-lap segments and have two races with total laps the winner. The other rotating sixth class races are 20-lap segments.

 The classes to be run in this order.  Old Time Modified, ASSCC Dirt Late Model, 1/32 Dirt Modified,  Winged Sprint Car, .BB Mod.  The rotating 6th class. i.e., (Silver crown cars, 1/32 DLM, Legends, Street Stocks, 360 sprints, ?Lego?,).

 

The donation is $20.00 covering all races and Coffee/Snacks.

 

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club rules apply at both tracks and will be strictly enforced.

 

We will be having a point fund for a combined track series champion sponsored by Rocket Chassis. Which will use combined lap totals from the 5 regular scheduled classes from both tracks to determine champion. Top 3 will receive a wall plaques. The top 8 will receive a box plaque.

 

 We will also have individual track champions and they will receive wall plaques for the top 3 and box plaques for the top 8.

 

After talking to racers Donnie and Rodney will be running for the overall championship using their combined lap totals from both tracks. Donnie will race at ASSCC and Rodney will race at SSR using their own equipment to make it as fair as possible.

 

As of 5-27-2013 the point fund is:

Rocket Chassis point champion.

1^st Place $125.00 gift card.

2^nd Place $75.00 gift card

3^rd Place  $50.00 gift card.

4^th Place $25.00 gift card

 

We expect prizes to grow higher as we obtain more marketing partners and sponsors.

Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club News for September 30, 2013

 We held our first meeting of Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club's directors. We felt we were forced to have this meeting because some of our out-of-town racers had a meeting that we were not able to attend because of overtime at work. Instead, we received a private message requesting changes be made to our racing program less than one month before our first scheduled race. The really sad thing is that everyone had the entire summer to read the newsletters & come up with any suggestions, comments or issues prior to this race.



As you can imagine, being responsible for handling all of the advertising of the racing series that includes not only our track, Awareness Speedway Slot Car Club and Donnie's track in Dover, PA to help him get the most racers, not including handling all of the updates for Facebook, other slot car racing websites, printing out the rules, the certificates, paying for the engraving and other significant details while still working a 40-plus hour workweek and driving over 4 hours per day in the car has been a significant investment, emotionally, mentally and physically.



Even though we are not considered a raceway, my husband, Rodney has gone beyond the call of duty, gone beyond the borders of our Club's Mission to try to keep things fair for our fellow racers. He has changed the rules on tires, etc. to help attract more racers who then don't show up to race and because we changed our rules we also lost racers who were angry because we changed the rules. Rodney has been putting up his own $$ to pay cash prizes and gas gift cards, as well as getting for sponsorships from good people all the way up in Canada to other sponsors like TGIF and DoTerra.
The time and effort that he has put into these endeavors is substantial. Maybe the racers that told us that “they are thrilled to just have a place to race” were making up stories because the most recent private messages and comments from racers do not add up or make any sense to us. We are not into drama or back-stabbing—we are here to have an integrity-based, mutually respecting Club who is trying to do something no one has ever done before, become a Not-For-Profit Charity to help Special Needs Kids and their parents and families forget that they have a disability for a little while. Why is that so hard to understand?



If the racers are no longer interested in helping us fulfill our Club's Mission, please advise us as it's really hard to talk to people who hold meetings in secret and then throw suggestions into private messages.



We would like to thank our loyal racers who have stuck it out with us and have allowed us to help reward you recently and for also pointing out that we had somehow moved away from our true Club's Mission.



We realize that we have had ongoing issues with our track's software and we are eternally grateful to those of you who have been so patient with us! Thank you so much for your love and support of racing to having helped us up to this point. Rodney has worked very hard to work on fixes as quickly as possible. The directors meeting results are that our Fall Dirt Car Challenge will be for NO POINTS--only certificates. In addition, all racers must be ASSCC members in order to race on the track effective October 1^st, 2013.

All our scheduled October racing here at ASSCC and at SSR is being postponed to a later TBD date so that we have time to regroup and refocus on our clubs mission..

A new class was requested and added to our 6^th rotating class to attract more racers. Vintage Stockcars (4.5 hardbody). Rules will be posted on web site as soon as possible.

Our community-based track is open to the public. Come put a smile on your face! And make some laps on the track. 

Most people know someone in their family, their church or in the community that they want to help reach out and help them live a higher quality of life.

We also host birthday parties up to 8 kids at a time. Check us out to learn what our special friends program is about.

It's has been suggested that we start charging a hourly donation to help us reach our goal of becoming a charity.. We are charging members $5.00 per person to play with cars and controllers included per visit  and non members $12.00 per person to play with cars and controllers per visit and first visit is free for everyone.
