The fences aren't there unless they are stashed somewhere but the Formica is still all there and original in color. It's good to know there is another one in operation the same color as Rt. 93 too.

As far as I know, there are 5 King tracks in the USA. There's one in Texas, two in Ohio, and two in New York. One of the New York Kings is in storage.

I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

The bridge has the orginal fences but the deadmans arent there and there is one peice of the formica not orginal that is the wall closest to the black lane going into the 90

The original Formica and Fences are Kool, but what's makingt me want to go to Buzz-o-rama is the original timing / lapcounter system and time seller. Stuff I'd love to see
“I make a point of staying right at the edge of poverty. I don’t have a pair of pants without a hole in them, and the only pair of boots I have are on my feet. I don’t mess around with unnecessary stuff, so I don’t need much money. I believe it’s meant to be that way. There’s a ‘struggle’ you have to go through, and if you make a lot of money it doesn’t make the ‘struggle’ go away. It just makes it more complicated. If you keep poor, the struggle is simple.“

"One more reason that Ohio is the slot racing capital of America..."

Um, last year my son lived within an hour's drive of no less than 6 tracks in the DFW area:

1. Ranger Raceway - Garland
2. Dallas Slot Cars - Dallas
3. Wylie Motorsports - St. Paul
4. River Oaks Motor Speedway - Ft. Worth
5. Fat Cats Raceway - Ft. Worth
6. All Scales Raceway - Waxahatchie

Can you do that in Ohio too?

OK I asked before in another thread......

There used to be an American Blue King track set up in a German Automobile Museum 15 or so years ago. Is it still set-up?

There also used to be an American Blue King track in the UK in a "resort" type area and may have been on a pier or close to seaside. Is this track still set-up??

Also, didn't Larry open back up, somewhere in Amhurst. And my dad now has a 4 lane in his Rec. Room we are going to start having a weekly sunday night deal come fall. Within an hour of Cleveland, also I beleive that North East(although in PA) is also an hour from Cleveland depending on traffic.

That sounds like the former Tottenham track that ended up at Wonderland in Southend, which would qualify as the 'seaside resort'. All long gone.

PdL make up a name and give him credit for the design, Arnold Stratenhouse or something. Noone can prove you wrong and if one can, you would have your wish of the genuine designer. :dash2: :sun_bespectacled: Will this get the book published quicker?

It would be interesting to know the production/appearance chronology.

Both Black tracks and the Red had the same pattern as the Blue.
I'm pretty sure the 150' Red and the 90' flat Black were around before the King.

Was the banked Black produced after the King or before?

If before, it was obviously a precursor to the King and the real question is who designed the banked Black? :laugh2:
