1)a #27 wind is going to be too much for this thing, but I guess "smoke" is really retro!
2)the Cox gear "mesh" sounds like ice being chopped in a blender

I have no worries other than it will be slower than I wanted in order to make it trackable in the corners.
But I still need to remove the thick test track guide washer. (Gotta remember that)
UPDATE:
Eddie has unfortunately dropped out due to personal reasons.
I gave him the option to change his mind and will keep his car up on the thread for a few more days. But this means probably only 19 entries will burn up the track on the 30th.
Ordering the t-shirts today. But, anyone want to guess on Bob Suzuki's t-shirt size? (He fails to respond to me)

It should be a very tough task for the drivers, too. I could go watch at Eddie's, but I don't think it would help at all. Best of luck to all of you!!

3. (Updated 8-26-12)While both tracks are King tracks and nearly the same in layout and length. The braid depth is slightly different. Randy confirmed that Eddie's track is .020.

All,
The braid is flush with the track surface at Eddie's. I will check with Eddie what the voltage is and post when I have an answer (unless maybe Durl knows and can chime in?).

I know the same story as you Bob. Best guess for me and all entrants what the true story is.
Jairus, could you please confirm the correct braid depth with Eddie.

NO! Call him yourself.
I have reported everything I can and know. I am working two jobs, numerous other projects and have given you guys what I can.
Bob.. you are really pissing me off!
(Hmmmm, Cutting to 18 entrants would work for me.)

I hope your cars aren't too bitey, as there is tons of rubber on the track.
