You are sending just tires Al? Better talk that out with Barney. Because I would rather you run slight smaller diameter wheels than require Barney to have to glue and true for you.
I was expecting a simply fix with a set screw. So just send the first set of wheels please. Because now after one race all the cars will be under the limit slightly if they were built to the limit!

My offer was for a set of tires and rims....not just the rubber. I have several sets made up of different wheel diameters, including two sets of Russkit rims.

If Al wants his own tires/wheels on his car, so be it.

I just wanted to offer him the opportunity to run without any hassles. I'll have them at BP on the 20th. Barney and Al can decide what Al wants to do.

So much DRAMA for such small cars....

Thanks again Mike for the wheel/tyre selection. I knew what you meant. I'm handing this over to Barney now. He can choose.

You know, somehow it feels so "right" (for obvious reasons) that in a vintage race like this that Tony P took the checkered flag. There...I just wanted to say that! :)

It's cool to still be stealing ideas from TonyP and being on the same track as him. Nothing has changed...I'm still a half second a lap behind him! :scratch_one-s_head: :pardon:

The cars are here........ I can tell it was a box of Thingie cars because it stunk of Zip Grip! Hey there is no Zip Grip in the box because I looked to make sure it did not spill...... I do not use Zip Grip so if the cars have to be cleaned with it before this race we to get some sent out. OR.....

I can use my Love Lotion tire cleaner on any peoples cars that want/ need it. Ask Oscar how it works...
I can test the cars for a few laps to see if they need grip at all if that's what the "Brain Trust" wants.
Let me know...

Barney, when I sent my cars out I sent some traction stuff and a couple of oilers for the directors to use as needed. Guess they did not get sent. Use what you got, I am sure it will be fine.

As a Goodwill gesture for all the participants of the race, I will donate a jar of Blue Magic to all the participants ... I will give it to Barney to include back with the cars that are sent back after the race.... My donation as a race prize...

I appreciate that a lot as I appreciate Barn's who will saturate our tires with his magic potion!

Thank you both, gentlemen!

Edo, it is a pleasure, and I will definitely be there for the race, and I had not seen if any race prizes had been donated, so I thought I would step up and encourage others as well, these cars are beautiful !
