Gentlemen

here are the result of the best lap out of ten on a 30 meter MDF track (built by Plazidus in Germany).

mytrack2011.jpg

Voltage was 12 V, the track was cleaned and vacumed before the race tires were treated and cleaned just before each car 10 laps (I used Barney Pornor 's magic potion),.

Last Minute Men         5.519

Steve King                    5.571

Mike Zimmerman         5.589

Walker/Weldon            5.599

Lowrider                        5.660

Andy Brown-Searle     5.687

Al Bond                          5.696

John Dilworth               5.742

Pablo                             5.745

Jaak                               5.781

Ray Fellows                  5.789

Tony Davey                   5.902

Lo Bucks                        5.941

Rod Morrison                5.948

Ben Kernan                   5.979

Jim Struckel                   6.062

REM                                6.354

Gary Vogeler                 6.484

Evil Minows                   6.685

WSC                               6.960

No cars were damaged, a couple of them are running quite low by now.

One thing I noticed is that tires are not behaving the same, some were loosing traction before others.

Anyway, it's been a pleasure and an honor to have all of them here, THANKS everybody!

Kind regards

Edo

Brian: your PM box is full, so I am posting this here

When my car gets to Ohio... I think the problem with is the front wheels... I think they need to be changed out to the skinny retro canam fronts JK makes. I would appreciate if you could do this when the cars arrive at your track. If you need to make holes in the body for clearance, go ahead. The car originally had .375 width , the ones I am thinking about are .25 wide, i think, 3/32 axle. Let me know if you can get these, & if you can do this...

Brian has asked me to post a photo here with a question for Gary V.

GaryVcommcooler_zpse5bd00e4.jpg

Gary, your comm cooler has obviously been in contact with the hard-working bite bar on your chassis.  Would you like Brian to remove it?

Hi Guys

I ground that place on the cooler so it would not drag on the bite bar. I think it will be ok as it is........

Thanks for looking . !!!!!!

Gary,
I placed the car on a power supply, and at low voltage, I pushed up the pans and it did INDEED make contact with the comm cooler.
I will not touch it, if you choose not too. Just my personal observation from inspecting the car for the first time.

I thought maybe that was a speed secret, Gary :)

Rear end lifts upon deceleration, floating bite bar contacts comm cooler providing extra braking action :clapping:

Posting for Brian McP again.

If it was Jersey they'd probably be riding in the trunk next to a couple of shovels, but this is Ohio and a little bit of comfort is given to those about to be raced. Or erased ...
