PdL in an article for LASCM /electric dreams documents the Champion of Chamblee story and shows the chassis in a Champion RTR car sitting in a Champion box.
So everyone is correct , could of possibly put in the description sold/distributed by champion (possibly others) but was manufactured in Japan
Here's to a nice few big bidders

How many times did you search Japanese chassis... ?
None. I search on 'brass chassis' to get all the chassis, regardless of their origin. I've read some of these AYK Aoyagi chassis were plated gold, some plated silver. Did Champion of Chamblee sell both?
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

If I had advertised it as a "Champion", the Vintage Police would have pointed out it was Japanese.
That would be deceptive.
The bottom line is, the interest in this car is about zero.
Now all I'm left with is guys wanting me to break Ebay's rules, and I will not do that.
The auction will go on and somebody may get it for far less than the value of the parts alone.
The Ebay Police or the Vintage Police ? Someone is always out to get ya'.

Guess I should have known better than put a $30 body and first class parts on a $15 chassis

Bill, you are confusing me
,
Ayk in America
Aoyagi Metals Industry Co. Ltd in Japan.
That is like saying Champion Champion.
And Pablo's chassis is silver. Champion of Chamblee sold both Silver and Gold plated chassis' produced by 青柳金属工業有限会社

My stock answer to them would be "contact me after the auction has ended." They will if they're really interested.

Bill, here is the Ebay statement on messages:
"Do not respond to the sender if this message requests that you complete the transaction outside of eBay. This type of offer is against eBay policy, may be fraudulent, and is not covered by buyer protection programs."
No way would I jeopardize my 100% Ebay rating and break the rules.
I'm just not that stupid.
