Hey Pablo, you're always welcome!
Hey guys, I need your opinions on "Loaner Cars" and controllers for my track. I want to have something on hand in case a neighbor or acquaintance drops by and wants to try out the track. The cheaper the better for loaners.
I'd like to buy them from PCH Parts Express or Mid America or?????
Any help would be much appreciated!

I guess this weekend it will be up and running.
Rick, you need to put a team together so we can have inter-track races about every month. We'll have the first one here at my track. If you don't show up we'll just forget the whole thing.

When I had Gary build "Wanker Valley Raceway", it was ready to go after assembly. He arrived at 4:30 and we were racing at 7:30! 5 years later still going strong and we are running faster than ever.

Thank you guys, this really is a dream come true for me.
Gary has asked to delay delivery until Oct 7-8 so his wife can accompany him on the long trip from Omaha. Western Oregon is a beautiful place and I think they'll enjoy the scenery especially if they've not been here before.
Anyway, I've waited 50 years for this, I guess I can wait an extra week

Gary Gerding is on the road for the almost 2000 mile trip.
Here's his latest email:
"We'll probably stay overnight in Reno the second night and then drive
to Oregon Tuesday. My guess is we'll get there late Tuesday and spend
Wednesday setting up your track."
OH BOY!

Hi Guys,
Gary Gerding just left. We worked all day to get the track in for one of his "most finicky customers". I told him I wasn't finicky, I was just meticulous! Anyway she's in, she's a beauty and she's a blast to drive! You can really get into a rhythm on it. My buddy Rodney did a great design for the space. Gary is not just a track builder, he's a racer and the track shows it. It's really smooth and fast. No surprises, no excuses, it just plain works.
I LOVE IT!
I took a bunch of pics during setup and I'd love to share them here, but tomorrow. Right now I'm pretty beat up. I didn't realize I'd have to be his helper and shlep all the track sections into the house and help with all the setup. My two ruptured disks in my back are asking for a rest tonight.
It's all good though and I'm so thrilled
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys and thanks Gary Gerding!

Congratulations, Rick, you deserve it!
Yes, take care of that back or else you'll be laying on the couch just LOOKING at the track... so near yet so far!

I know you must have a million plans on your mind, Capt. Rick
All those cars to test. Believe me, If they handle on that track, they flat out handle anywhere. !
If they need tuning, they will tell you there. If they are happy, they will tell you there.
Have you figured out the braking points yet ?
You will probably need to force yourself to get some shut eye tonight
