What you guys don't know is I have been working with AntKnee through PM's.
Trying to get him 'on track' within his limits but he gets speed crazed when he sees these cars go. I don't want to see him get screwed over based on his level of knowledge of this hobby.
Thanks for the kind words AG.
I see I have two PMs from you at 2-3AM and will reply over there.

Is that an aluminum chassis?

Be careful.......be very careful. These chassis are fast but bend very easily.

Anthony,
Maybe you could try this car out.http://slotblog.net/...k-akelly-12-hp/
Very fast, strong chassis, cheap bodies. And NO WINGS! You have to drive these cars but they handle very well.

Looks good Anthony. Keep building 'em. Putting a car together and running it on the track never gets old.

There goes your track time money ... lol
The only way to know is put it in the car and run it.
Get yourself some lead wire tabs (clips) for the guide flag.

E - Get a pinion puller tool.
F- Remove pinion per instructions.
That should keep you biz-zie for a while.

Anthony,
As you can see you have a true piece of slot history. Care for it well.

The NEUSRA races at Port Jeff monthly, next race is March 8. In addition to One Motor G12 we also have One Motor I15. The car Anthony has would be competitive in OM15 as Doug has stated. He helps a number of people run OM15 to get started. It's a gear restricted class, 9/44 or 9/43 72pitch. It most likely has the correct gearing already installed. We usually don't have a full field for OM15 so that would make a first race a little easier. You should get a couple of G12 motors as well to run OMG12 as a warm up. If you are buying your stuff from Doug, the PJ crew will help you out with mechanical issues as you get to learn this stuff. It does cost money to race wing cars but our One Motor classes do alot to control those costs. While our OMG12 classes is not a true amateur class as we only have a OMG12 class and not a ProBox class so anyone can race OMG12 if they want to. In the case of 15's, the One Motor class actually is closer to an Amateur class because we race Expert 15 and the fast guys are all in that class and OM15 is pretty much reserved for newbies to the class.

As far as the arm engraving, it means it was originally owned by Gunther Faas a true racing legend, it's a Proslot M2 arm, hemi wound and thats probably a 38, not a 3.5 which means the arm is timed 38 degrees. Also it looks like an SMF can and endbell and most likely Proslot quad magnets.
