For consideration of the BoD members,
Suggestion:
Post a PDF tech sheet and request competitors to fill out, print off, and bring to tech.
Competitors basically know what they will be running, cross-outs for changes made at the track on race-day would be acceptable. Weight entry should be left blank and recorded on-site by the tech inspector.
Benefits -
1 - Professional image and standardized procedures.
2 - Consistency of forms through out the regions.
3 - Legibility for the Tech Inspector and the photos in race reports.
4 - A database could be maintained as an option if the BoD or Regional Director would desire.

Yes they can, but it seems more important to know what kit was used then the guide flag being used. I do not understand the resistance to a line that says "chassis kit/mfg" except to quote Jim HT, "Doing it my way because it's my way". I guess you want to see builders name, understandable.Rick, guys can write in R-Geo, JK or the even more popular K&S as they have been

My Sano sheets, that Joe makes up, say "Chassis", not "Builder".

Joe's (Noose's) sheets have all the areas that need to be teched for each class. There is even a line for hand-out motor numbers. Some folks take time... some do not... Tech Directors are teching the cars, not the sheets.
Rick and Rick Jr. have been kind enough to show me as the builder of chassis I have built for them. Many others also. As a builder, I do appreciate it... But if somebody does not, I am not offended. Since Rick is a mfg. I can see why he would want to have his kit indicated on the sheet. I have also seen many mfgs and builders thanking racers on Facebook.
Peace, out...

While I have places to enter all the cool data on our tech sheets, a date and a name are good enough. Pay yer money, pass tech, let's race.

I just don't see why it would be so tough to put in that box???
Chassis
Builder/Mfg
Rick, the very top line says "Type, Size, Manufacturer, Painter" then below Chassis.
This is just a case of you can lead a horse to water...
Half of the time guys put in things like "Gear: Yes".

Well, here's how they did it back in the Arco races.
This is Terry Tawney's entry blank from the Arco race in Winter Park, FL, back in 1967 or '68. Note that someone printed a couple of the words thay they couldn't decipher... LOL!
FWIW, it seems Bob Rule still has all of the entry forms from all of the Arco races!

All this info was there and all I can say is thanks to the people that took the time to make sure they had included this info in the post about these races.
While my lack of experience on that track and sloooow reflexes due to my age did not show well, I still went, participated, and had an experience that will be remembered with a great deal of enjoyment.

IRRA™ rules questions & answers. ... thread is locked so I'll ask here.
Can I remove the arms from my Tier 1 P/D motors and get them sealed with Chinese 4002 arms as Tier 2 motors?
