We got some NIP from Buzzy's when we went there in '06 and/or '08.
We're basically waiting to see when he'll start to sell of his stuff....

You've got some goodies there that the "boys" will want:
A complete new Monogram chassis WITH a hard to find new guide flag
THOSE PANS.......I've never seen a new pair of the floppy version of those Dynamic pans....in my limited experience. I make my own from the fixed pan version.
Time to dig deep or move on...............
So are you saying that I can keep the pans and sell the rest Rick?
I already have two of those complete chassis in running condition waiting for bodies.

It was a pure luck to spot those.
I have not or will not be bidding.
I'll be going into 'sell' mode, too many projects and not enough money.
I have one NOS 'Sloppy Sam' set, NOS NIB GE motor and correct mount. $105 shipped.
To avoid getting or ... please put 'safe search on' if you plan on Binging Sloppy Sam images.

No, no. After you said the items were over what you were willing to bid, I thought it would be OK to comment. I was just saying that a new Monogram chassis with guide was desirable and that I've never personally seen a new Dynamic floppy pan set for sale.

Okay, I got it.
Already have a plan for the Monogram chassis. Going to put it under a model car body and send it to Chris Clark for his magic!
The Dynamic floppy pans are MINE!

Yes Bob, thank you very much for spotting those very difficult to find bits!
Joe is sending me a tongue hinge so pretty much all I need now is time to put it all together.

There is probably so much I think Buzzy can only imagine too.

I'm wondering what will happen to it all in the future....my guess is FIRE SALE or WASTE MANAGEMENT.

Two things.
I moved this thread here to my section because the parts were for a car I have been planning for a long time.
Second thing is I want to give a huge shout out to Joe Lupo for providing the center ISO hinge out of the goodness of his heart. The man is a saint and a credit to this hobby. Thank you Joe.
Also want to thank Bob Isrealite for pointing me to the rare and very expensive floppy pans I managed to get in that ebay auction.
Thanks also to David Siller for the Dynamic Dynaflex front axle mount and R-Geo for the brass tongue.
This is my ultimate (so far) bolt together Dynamic chassis.
Lots more to do but... getting there.
I rarely build for myself, but after getting off work today I just wanted to work on something fun. So... I did.
Wheels will be all Dynamic cast pieces but I'll probably be dumping the vintage rubber for some modern fish rubber at a later date.
Motor is a Dynamic can and endbell, but with a Thorp 25 arm. The endbell has brush plates and spring post protectors, but I suspect the brush springs are too strong. Shunt wires will be added later.
TrueScale has yet to deliver the Dynamic Ferrari body.
Updates as they happen.

Very cool!
A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

J, thanks for the kind words. Is that an independent front axle? I must say although they are high on the cool factor those things bend quite easily. Just a small bump can screw them up. I had one on my Dynamic proxy car and even with additional bracing it still bent. Great for show, crap for racing in my opinion.
Also, that is the wrong motor mount for that motor. You will have to file the chassis or modify the endbell to fit. Dynamic never made a chassis to mount a BB motor with endbell drive. They always drove out of the bearing side and used an additional retainer. I can show the setup if you like.
You can file the chassis to make it work, but you should still use the front motor retainer.
Please don't take the above as criticism, just trying to be helpful.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, Im looking for a chassis motor fram for a Pittman DC70 style motor, did they make one with bronze bushings or just the plain rear axle holes (no bushings/bearings) Dont need the whole chassis as much as the motor mount. If it comes as a complete kit fine.

Looks nice Jairus!
I like 'screws only' Dynamic cars.
As a matter of fact I have two ready to race if you guys want to do another Challenge proxy ....

Paul, I have the Dynamic motor mount for the DC70. They did make it with and without bearings. The bearing one is harder to find and I only have one in my collection. I have two non bearing ones I can spare. One is a little is modified but still useable $5 or an NOS one for $10 plus $4 shipping.
PM me if you need more info or pics. Joe

Sorry guys, I got distracted by the need to work on my Sketchpad article for Model Cars Mag and can't play with this project right now.
Joe is right that the independent axle is weak. But not as weak as the single screw used to hold the tongue to the hinge.
No matter how tight I make the screw... the tongue will change angles maybe a half a degree back and forth.
That's not huge, but combine that with the front axle and this combination would NEVER last a single race. Fast maybe, but not solid and reliable.
Maybe a re-think is necessary.
Oh... and a slot blog member managed to get me two more sets of those floppy pans, both in the package so I am set for a while.
I only wanted the solid pans which I assumed were called "Sloppy Sam's". But these have that very marking on the bottom so now I am looking for a single set of solid pans and am not sure what they are called.
Appears I still have a lot to learn about what my favorite manufacturer actually produced.

Did they make solid pans? I have not seen them. Hopefully someone can elaborate.
Nice score on the NOS pieces.
I was thinking you could set the tongue where you want it. Then drill through the tongue and hinge on each side where those little ears are and insert a 1/16' steel wire. You could even use one pin to prevent side to side movement. Sort of a locating pin. You can solder it to the tongue if needed. Then, use a screw and nut like they do on the independent front end.

Yes, here is an example built by Pablo. This is the car that inspired the Dynamic Challenge by the way.

An undercut flathead 4-40 screw or a slight countersink in the front axle retainer might be what you need to get it tightened securely.
