Very sad! Only got to run vintage cars with him a couple times, but we chatted lots at the Midwest slot car swap meet. Will miss the laughs, and the chats about Dave Bloom bodies and Dyna-Rewind motors!

The first time I ever saw Dave was at the first Sano, which he dominated. Didn't actually meet him or even talk to him. I was just an "also-ran" at the first Sano and didn't do anything notable. The second time I saw Dave was at the R4. He remembered my name and talked to me like we were best friends; it blew me away.
RIP, Dave, I'll miss you.
