The chassis in those Italian beasts are very unique. .

It actually runs very well, Paul, surprisingly docile, but that may be because the French rewind is down on power and those huge tires keep it on the track!

Here are some CHOTI thingies that I envisioned...
One is gone to a new home but I would welcome it back, and two newer ones that I have and will hold on to!
The first one is the THORP branded Choti and then there is the FRENCH branded car and then the ROAD WARRIOR!

I was hoping this thread would catch on but doesn't seem so! Thank you Jairus, Pablo and Don for your kindest participation anyway.
Here is another of the Can Am style thingie body the POINT originally created by Larry Shinoda-san and faithfully reproduced by Gene's World.
I don't own this car anymore and I truly miss it! The number 52 is used often on my cars and refers to my year of origin. This beautiful car was built and painted ny Jarius. I cannot find the chassis photos so far!

Hi Dave;
I realize it is a plug and not a body,but it is nice to look at.
Here is a forgotten Shinoda GP, not seen often.
take care;

These are the rarest of the Shinoda's
3-1/4 inch wide
I believe these were or near the end of the Shinoda body era.
All Shinoda's are works of art.
Maybe Philippe could comment on this one.
I believe he has a white completed car with the coupe body.
If you like I can keep posting the Shinoda mold line up for those interested.
If anyone has completed cars it would be nice to see the cars no matter the condition.
thanks and enjoy, gene/zr1

Gene, there seems to be a renewed interest in thingies. Please continue to post your Shinoda mold lineup as you offered in the post above. I wouldn't mind seeing any of the Shinoda chassis that you built either. Thanks! I still recall the Shinoda vehicle you first posted on scratchbuilt.com in the early 2000's.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Bat Car
Bat Car Exothermic, style design
I carved the Bat Car wood mold from this small photo.
Still to this day the creator is unknown, some say it is a Shinoda, and this is the only documentation.
Makes a fine looking ride.

Small bus, with long air intake
Small bus with large air iintake
The Shinoda small buss were chopped down, buried in the grass flat and lethal on the track.
