Holy Smokes!
A video with music for a slot car chassis. This must be the 21st century. Heck of a job

Not even a pretense of front wheels so nothing is sticking up to get hit and bend the pan.

I didn't even notice.
I haven't seen one in person.
With the ISRA Worlds in town, Tim has been showing it around, but when he stopped by me last Friday night, I was busy "Sanoing".

The center void looks like a F-86 Sabre Jet. So how about JK F-86 or JK Jet. The JK frames have such confusing names something simple and unique would be best.

My guess is that you replace that front cross wire with a longer piece for fronts.

This is a turning point in Slots. Sort of like when Wing cars lost their fronts and the chassis had perimeter frames with no place for fronts. Same for Eurosport cars. This is a purpose built race chassis for ISRA and similar rules.

" Fronts?.....We ain't got no fronts... "
" We don't need no fronts... "

When I did the first perimeter cars, and other's followed, the fronts didn't really change from what they were on conventional cars.
IOW, I used the same type,(plastic rims with a rubber O-ring) but just moved them inboard, inside the rails.
It was years before they got to the point they are.

Wing cars are like "Hollywood women"---totally FALSE FRONTS!!! Front wheels on wing cars are STUPID---they can't be seen and don't work. Might as well go with sticker fronts as they at least LOOK like they are there! Same with Flexi's--don't work, don't need them. Simple is better.

This chassis' no nonsense approach to present day technology is to be commended. A bold move. You want fronts....race Retro,Hard Bodies,Scale, or Vintage.
If ISRA allows use of it's name, the new chassis should be named: JK ISRA-2 (two piece). You guys know a three piece is coming down the pike.

I wouldn't necessarilly bet on that.
I haven't asked Tim about it, but I don't think the design lends itself real well, to it.
