Now you owe me an apology. You got the email and ignored it. Read Rollin's post. All you had to do was to go to Holly Hill in the last 2 months and inquire about what's going on. What is it? 5 to 10 minute drive from where you live? And you could not bother to get involved in the decision making. Everybody can get involved in the decision making if they want to. You know very well from last year that in the Fall we discuss the next years rules.

Can't wait to race. No big deal to me in terms of the rule changes - I like them - bye bye fronts!
I look forward to .050 clearance coinciding with bumpers getting shorter next year...

We can pretend all day. We all know the 2 easiest ways to make announcements for everyone to know. It isn't through email. A post is made by myseries official asking for proposals. You telling me nobody seen anything about it? Well I've confirmed that to be a lie. By the way track owners don't make the rules doc and rollin do. It is way easier to pass a vote your way when nobody shows up isn't it?
Bull$hi+
Please name ONE rule that I've put in place all on my own. If it was just me, I'd have it messed up more than you think it is now.
However, I can go find a number of posts where I've advised racers to tell their local track owner about what they'd like to see improved in the Series.
When I was a Racer's Representative for Buddy and co-owner of a track with Johnny; I sat at the table with Greg, Bill, and the other track owners (and racer's reps when they existed) that have come and gone and we discussed the proposals and suggestions that racers had given their respective owners. Never through a message board by the way. The group of owners reached a consensus and that was what we ran with. And it was always done with the goal of keeping a level playing field and changing only what needed changing -- either by popular demand from our racers in Jacksonville or to allow for changing market conditions.
When I stopped being a track owner in the middle of 2015, my role became "The Typer of the Guidelines." And, when asked by the track owners, I posted information for the Series since none of those guys spend much time on the message boards.
I made ZERO proposals for the 2017 Guidelines, but I did print out a ballot and vote by sending it to Holly Hill with another racer since I had to work that day. I'm certainly not the rainmaker that you obviously think I am.
Could things be done better? Yes. Volunteer to help. But, I'll warn you. It's thankless and it pays NOTHING.
Can't wait to race. No big deal to me in terms of the rule changes - I like them - bye bye fronts!
I look forward to .050 clearance coinciding with bumpers getting shorter next year...
Charlie... I hope I get to race with you some in 2017. You've worked to become a far better racer than I am, but I still hope we get to race together.

Haven't checked my email in over a year lol... We can put that another way doc. Instead of me driving across town to the track here is an idea... Why can't the person who brought the vote up in such an elaborate and calculated way take the 10 seconds to type... hey guys check your emails vote ballots coming... or even hey guys we are voting this weekend at the race since you obviously knew way more about it seeing as you have the ballots. I'm also connected with every track owner via facebook and not a word about an upcoming vote. What vote????? LOL
You made several points about what you witnessed at the outlaw race you weren't at, about how all the nascar bodies were completely gutted. Obviously against my idea. Actually not my idea it's the way everyone else does it but what do I know. Even last year we recommended both the cheaper motors and doing away with the fronts and we had people threatening to sell their stuff and quit if they didn't get their way. NOW THATS FUNNY. Now all of a sudden jk new chassis and everyone's opinions sway with the wind. Maybe I shouldn't care because I'm not a track owner stuck with a bunch of front wheels and chassis because we just went over this last year but decided to change our minds. Lets run the new chassis everyone always cried about spending an extra $5 on some real tires lets spend $10 more per chassis. Yeah that's not contradicting yourself.
I've seen the new national series rules being embraced by everyone including usra and world champs coast to coast. You seen what happened last year when we suggested a type of move like that? LOL we try to help rollin but anything me or dz suggests is sure to be met with resistance, I wish nobody listened last year and it would still be 5 guys racing with 4 different kind of random built motors wondering why nobody new was showing up.
There comes a point you can't deal with the shadiness anymore and that's the point I'm at personally. Regardless, I'll continue to race when I can and bring new people to the track like I have the past 15 years.

I NEVER stated that I witnessed anything at an Outlaw race because I never attended one. So you lied, and that makes you a liar.
Biscuit wrote: "Even last year we recommended both the cheaper motors and doing away with the fronts and we had people threatening to sell their stuff and quit if they didn't get their way."
Who threatened to quit? Name that person. And besides, the My Series directors went with the cheaper motors. So you lied again. This lying thing seems to be a pattern for you.
Biscuit wrote: "Lets run the new chassis everyone always cried about spending an extra $5 on some real tires lets spend $10 more per chassis."
This makes no sense. Who cried about a chassis? What the heck are you talking about. You are delusional.
Get the facts straight or get off this message board. You did the same thing last year. Other members on Slotblog said your posts were non-sense. I am sick and tired of you lying. And it seems that you are the only one crying here. Grow up.
Furthermore, you have the notion that I am responsible for keeping you up to date on all My Series matters. Rubbish. You admit that you haven't checked your email for a year. Sounds like you are responsible for not being informed. But you blame me. Very childish.

We all know behind closed doors you threatened to quit because of the push for FK motors, Doc.
Your track owner expressed this to my track owner. We of course found that amusing.
Can't you tell when you come to our track?
Talk and say what you want. You and I know the truth.
Of course I have the balls to say it.
Do you?

Danny, I NEVER said to Bill that I was going to quit slot car racing if we raced only FK motors; never happened. And if it "happened behind closed doors", how would you know. So your statement is factually incorrect. Another fact that you don't know is that I was in attendance with the track owners (Greg, Marcus, and Rollin & Johnny) when it was decided to drop the Hawk 6 motor. Yes, I did not like it, but that's the way it went, and I never said that I would quit.
"Can't you tell when you come to our track?" What is this all about? If you are referring to the Hawk 6 matter, I have stated to several racers since the Hawk 6 matter that I would prefer to run the Hawk 6 along with the Hawk 7. No secret here. If you are referring to this years stuff, you are at the track (it seems) every time that I come up there. So we know that you are there a lot. So Greg never mentioned anything to you about the ballot? You came into the track while the My Series race was being run. You said hello to me and I said hello back while I was racing. So you and Greg or Phil never talked about the My Series ballot? If no, I find that amazing. So you guys think that I have to personally keep you informed. That's nice and I have no problem with that, but on that day I was preoccupied by trying to win that endurance race. You and I have always treated each other with respect and I consider us racing buddies. But now I see that is different because of this one matter.
"Talk and say what you want. You and I know the truth." Well, I know the truth. Your "truth" is distorted. You can state what you want about rules, however when you start lying about me that's where I draw the line. How's that for balls.
Mike wrote: "It's not just about me and my proposal that was purposely omitted. It's about all the racers who didn't get to vote." Who are these numerous full time My Series racers who did not vote? Name them! You cant. Name those racers who raced in Florida My Series more than 3 races this year and did not vote. One racers on the other side of the state who was not present at the last two endurance races voted. I have his ballot. How come he voted and you did not. You were present at the GRRR event in Holly Hill (your home track) and did not even talk to Greg about My Series and he did not offer up anything. Amazing. Plus, I greeted you when I saw you at the GRRR event and you refused to greet me back. You refused to even say hey. You could have mentioned something at that time. That's really hard to believe. So, Mike and Danny your statement is rubbish. You guys don't know that nobody will ever be able to reach out to ALL racers and you will never get all of them to vote.
You guys could have asked right here on this message board what was going on at anytime through October and the first 3 weeks of November, but you did not. We had 2 races at Holly Hill only 8 days apart. You could have talked to someone there. I would have gladly filled you in. How is anyone supposed to know that you don't check your email for years to come. Besides today, email and other electronic media are the best means to communicate news.

Guys I think this thread has gone far enough and nothing is going to be accomplished but make a lot of bad will in myseries. Both sides expressed their opinions , let's not do anything to hurt the series which had a great year.
I would suggest you be of the mods to lock this.

Another thing. Biscuit made a big deal about supporting the series with his long years of entering races. I think that's great!
Biscuit wrote "I've been around slot racing in Florida and supported it a lot longer than some people like to give me credit for. Longer than everyone not named Danny Zona or Terry Tawney. I'm not in the 2nd tier of racers where I need to propose rules to help myself win races or be more competitive.
Lets talk about my contributions. I have attended every My Series race since Summer of 2010. That's about 78 races, not to mention the GRRR retro races. That's a lot of paid entry fees and track fees. I also buy my racing equipment from all of the tracks involved with the series, including Melbourne, Jacksonville, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Holly Hill, Longwood, Pinellas Park, John's, and one other. I do not buy from the internet. I want these tracks to succeed.
Also, for the last 3 years, I have published all of the race reports and have kept track of the driver championship points. I have over the last several years published stuff here on Slotblog, such as, race announcements, what specific track a race would be conducted on, braid depth, etc. I can not possibly publish everything that any specific racers wants to know. It just can not happen because I am focused on my own racing most of the time.
So, Mike, I regret that you did not get informed about the recent vote, but there were several steps that you could have taken to get a ballot and get your proposal on the ballot. You seem so put off and insulted on this matter, but if you have a critical proposal for the ballot, you need to reach out.

Doc you don't have to go far to read your paragraph about the outlaw bodies I think it's 1 or 2 topics below maybe you already forgot?
Also on this message board you can find me and dz suggesting the cheaper motors only for you to argue and oppose.
We spec everything to jk to save a couple bucks then are willing to throw it right back out and change the rules when jk does something new.
Must have caught you since you keep calling me a liar even though everything I've said is true and on this board for everyone to see. Your credibility seems to be next to nothing lol
