I hold mine down with a alum strap.. I drilled a couple holes on the centerline and tapped them.

I have one unit left ready to ship.

USPS has been slow with many people not showing up to work at the distribution centers. With that in mind it will most likely take some extra time for you to receive the package.

I went ahead and machined 6 more of these from some stock slated for other jobs.

 

Due to things outside my control, these will be the last units available until at least next October.

I received my body pinner from Mark a couple of months ago but was unable to use the pinner until recently. This is one of the coolest, well made tools I have come across. If you do your part it works flawlessly and cannot be destroyed except by thermonuclear weapons. Thanks for a great tool, Mark! :D

I had shoulder surgery and it will be a couple of months before I can turn the handles to machine another run.

I have a handful of these ready to ship.

 

There is a substantial price increase due to materials and my limited time to machine these.

 

The 2021 price moving forward will be $125, that includes USPS Priority shipping to lower 48.

I wish things were different but this is a move I must make if any more of these will be available in the future.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. 
 
By nature, I can't buy anything without modifying it. (Like that electric can opener with the group 7 armature. Opens the tuna can in 0.9 seconds) This purchase was no different.  Part of the Slot Racing Gene in me I guess.
 
I sanded the entire working surface with 160 grit to rid the surface of any high spots from milling processes.
Understand that it was totally usable as received. I  just can't leave things alone the way they are. Gotta tinker with everything. 
 
I plan on adding a guide slot per underneath the working surface, as did Jay in post #196 on page 8  ( thanks for the idea Jay)
 
I might end up sinking some Neo magnets into the surface, rather than futz around with tape, Home Depot had a bunch of choices for under $5.00
 
 Also bought the magnets for a body cutting tool using a steel ruler on then outside, and magnets to the inside. Seems I could cut further forward that way, than I could with the commercial clamping systems I've seen.(Just an idea rattling around in this old mans head)
