New demo chassis from Matt Sheldon's Duffy Metal Works. Nice parts, Matt.
I like it! Looks very light! Tested on track yet?

My fourth chassis, inspired by the Checkpoint-winning KamoSpeed car.
JK front piece, the one with the side pans.
R-Geo motor bracket and guide reinforcement.
.062" rails and "pan" connectors.
Runs well on our fast track.

When I started building again I said I would build an anglwinder and I finally got around to it. It is built to the IRRA® class rules but it is just something to play with.
Rear section is all .062" and the rails are .062" inside and double .047" outside.
Wheelbase: 3-7/8"
Guide lead: 7/8"
44 grams

The uncovered front hinges and contouring left pan reminds me of a '60s chassis.

I did build a few of those, Mike.
Thanks.

Nice handiwork, Eddie. Looks like it could take a hit or two (something that's very important for the way that I drive ).

This is a Retro Can-Am chassis built with an HVR nosepiece and pans, R-Geo bracket, Swiss 2-degree guide tongue, and Bartos front axle. It has a an .032" spacer under the tongue for Port Jeff's flush braid. I hope it works.
I built it basically along the lines of the Duffy (RIP) kit as this has worked for me before.
Cheers,
PS: I hope Jim Williams continues to sell his parts and front wheels now that the store is closed.

Nice looking car John.
The pan stops are very interesting. Is that something you have been doing or something new?

Eddie the credit goes to Tom Hansen. He designed that set up. I like to use that style when the hangers have no built in guide. They work really real well. I slot the tubing with a thin dremel wheel so thet a .062 wire fits into it.

The limiter is soldered only to the center and half rails. The half rails are free floating in the tubes. The limiter will reduce vertical flex while allowing good rotational flex.
