Mike McMasters asked me to let everyone know that the Ustream video feed has been very flaky and unstable today and that he's having a hard time keeping it going. He's rebooting the feed when he can between his race directing. Seemingly it is a network or Ustream issue that he can't really do anything about.

Yeah, sorry I couldn't get the final results up before we had to leave the raceway, but there were others pics to take and everyone wants to get the heck out ASAP.

Working on it now and will have the results and a few more pics posted in a few minutes.

My .02 for this first R4 hand-out race. Being new into slot racing for over a year now, and my second R4 race.

But having race R/C for over 30 years I would have to say this was one of the best-run racing events for hand-out motors that I have attended. The preparation and execution was very well thought-out. Organizing an event of this caliber takes a lot of time and thinking to perform such clocklike actions. Kudos to Mike McMasters and all the people behind the scenes that never get much credit for their timeless work. And really in the end the racing seemed to be much closer, the motors more equal and the cream will always rise to the top, but the ingredients change a little.

Congratulations to all the winners and everyone that had a great and fun time attending this great event.

Also would like to thank all the cooks and people that made all the goodies and food for us racers. Thank you!

-Eli
