A 5.0 sec lap in Can-Am is a really great lap on this track. This field was very competitive. The top two racers in the D main turned 5.0 sec laps.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself at this year's Fall Brawl.
Mike puts on an outstanding event for the racers.
It’s great seeing the guys compete at the highest level of our hobby.
Camaraderie is abundant at this event like no other.
Having been to the Sonos and R4, this is the platinum event of Retro racing.
It’s much like a family reunion than anything else.
For me it’s worth the two-day drive just to be in the same room with individuals who share the same passion of racing Retro slot cars. Looking forward to next year.
Happy holidays, guys.
Safe travels home and see you next year.
Or better yet in January at Cap's place!

The championship belt at the Fall Brawl is awarded based on a racer's combined finishes in Stock Car, GT Coupe Pro, F1, and Can-Am.
The 2019 Fall Brawl Brawl championship belt goes to Jerry Herbert.

Thanks, guys.
i have a lot more pics to post, including the promised box tour, but they'll have to wait until I get home, as they have to be resized before I can upload them. And with a 14-hour drive today, I can't do that before we depart.
I fully agree that this was an amazing event, with a level and depth of competition that was off the charts. No other Retro race I've attended before can match it.

Thanks to Mike Iles owner and team, track manager Mic, Cindy our kind counter lady, Rob and Mic running all of our races.
Thanks to Noose our Tech king. Always fair, even though he bounced me for height LOL.
The tracks were prepared great by Mic and company.
You all know slot car racers have big appetites so very special thanks for Cindy and Mark for providing a Friday spread and to Mike Iles for a great Saturday spread and great refreshments.
The competition was insane!!! A win here is like no other win; you're beating the best no matter which main you're in.
Till next year take care and God bless...

I want to second everything that JJ said above. And it was great meeting him in person. Second, it was also great talking to Howie after so many years; he is truly one of slot car legends.
Also, I want to thank Greg for posting the race results in a timely fashion.
I hope that I will be able to come back next year.

I have to thank Keith Libby for running a couple of my cars at the last minute. Putting both cars in their respective A mains was great! His leading the Can-Am race until just seconds from the end was very exciting for me. My race ended about ten laps into the first heat while dueling with Jerry Herbert for the lead. I hit somebody and my F-poc motor lost around .2 seconds a lap, race over.
See ya'll next year, and for those that couldn't make it this year, ya missed a another fantastic event.
Keep on keeping on!

Everybody competing hard while having fun.
Even with some barking between racers in practice everyone was apologetic after the brief heated moment. Myself included.
Racers loaned out cars and helped out with advice when a racer was in need.
I know I'm a better racer because of this event.
I'll surely be back again.
