Let me re-phrase it for you. The skirt width and WB are exactly the same. The Lancer flares inward in front and at the rear much more than the JK. For body mounting purposes the JK fits perfectly, is what I meant to say.

I apologize for any body confusion; that was my fault. The detail on the JK body is incredible. It mounted up to the Ursaner replica car with zero problems. Warmack mirrors painted with black enamel and silver faces installed with clear dots of windshield glue. Four rectangles of cross hatch filament tape reinforce the pins.
Custom painted right side Noose interior. With this body, total weight is 130 grams and balance point is at driver's chest

My "Molotow.com" chrome pen finally arrived. No wonder it took so long, made in Germany and came from an art supplier in Sweden. It says "alcohol based" so I doubt it will be a problem.
But as Martin suggested, I tested it first anyway, on the door knobs, over a piece of decal, and a small area on top of acrylic. If it doesn't attack any of those, I'll go ahead and do the ringlets around the tail lights

You will like your pen. I got a set of 4 different sizes and a refill from Amazon a couple of years ago. I love mine.
BTW... those aren't door handles... They are the lights that light the door numbers for night racing. 😁

The pen worked fine and passed several tests - it doesn't attack butyrate, or decals, or Lexan. Wipes clean with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. Dries in about 30 minutes.
This is the perfect stuff for Warmack mirrors, so I went ahead and did all four (both bodies). The red (acrylic) tail lights on the antique Lancer body accepted it no problem
Howie, what do you think?
