Concur
Roller was, indeed a piece of cake. Not tryin' to brag too much, but careful prep pays off.
Dynamic flag, Parma "Old Skool" brass clips with Big Mama braid, one CR .032 spacer down under, and a CR aluminum collar. They had aluminum back in 1968, eh? LOL
On the test block, the car sits perfect, level 1/16 clearance, a hair of pan droop with some good lift. Front wheels are elevated about 10 thou in a non-recessed block to allow for track braid recess. It passes muster 100%

Amazing build. The new main rails and motor box are great. I learned quite a bit from this build.

I fabricated an "anti-bunny hop" wire brace with .047 wire, and masked the can for acid tinning
Then used paste flux to attach it
Once the motor is screwed in and aligned, the brace will be soldered to the rails with paste flux. If the motor ever needs to come out, a Dremel slice removes it. Back in the day the pros weren't concerned with acid splatter. I am LOL

Motor screwed tight to bracket. Before I solder the brace, it has to be a perfect gear mesh - one chance
Motor brace tacked to chassis with Aero paste flux, checked, then soldered home. Good to go
She passes a preliminary drivetrain test with flying colors. The Dynamic gears apparently love each other very much

Nice way of doing the motor brace.

Thanks Rodney
Standard procedures - flag surfaces faced and sanded, all rotating surfaces smoothed, Swiss .032 spacer under, Koford 10 thou bronze above in case more ride height required. Cox Superflex lead wires, Parma brass clips
Clips acid tinned out and away from the car, cleaned up, wires soldered with paste
Lead wires done. 50+ year old wires are fine, but age takes it's toll on insulation. Despite the fact I took great care using my Hakko 454, it sometimes splits when heat is applied. It's just a visual imperfection. I applied miniscule amounts of Loctite professional CA

Car is complete except for the body, which unfortunately in the end wasn't quite tall enough above the rear wheels. So the Ford gets saved for a future build and now am looking at 2 other body options.
She passes the final drivetrain test perfectly, spooky powerful and smooth

It's a shame the Mk 4 body didn't work out but the roller looks pretty awesome Pablo! Excited to see what you put on it.

Thanks guys
Owner received the car and modified (lowered) the axle tube assembly to allow smaller wheels, making the Ford work fine Most impressive. I'd let this guy perform surgery on me any day without hesitation
