De-crust it & rebuild it as a fun car to run. It probably has a 16D motor, change it to an FK if you have one. Make sure the gears, tires, & body are in good shape then run the smoke out of it.

At one time you could get aluminum pans & extenders to build that chassis for a 4.5" car.  Don't spend the money for that stuff today even if you can find the parts.

I jerry rigged a blue H&R fk motor in there. i really like building up junkers they still always run good even if outdated.

Love the Lola T70 body, it has a great stance  :good:

Not a big fan of the stamped steel chassis, much preferer your scratch builds  :clapping:

I put one of those Champion ISO wire pieces on a cast Dynamic inline chassis during the late 60s or early 70s. It ran pretty good on a routed wood track with silicone tires. If you liked those wire pieces, it would be relatively easy to build your own.

I ran a period build dynamic with an axle pivot iso scratch chassis and it ran pretty good. Ive since cannibalized it but I saved the iso parts with front axle.

this looks pretty cool:

Another resto underway. Early run cuc. got this as just a roller with no guide or motor. luckily my stash had the needed parts even the little plastic chrome guide retainer. Body wouldnt be bad but rear fenders are hacked out and the body had holes drilled in it as a desperate attempt at getting the driver to stay glued in. unfortunately off to right and not center. Im thinking Ill add a hole to the existing two and mirror it on the other side to give a speed hole effect to atleast make it uniform.

I could just remount the driver off to the right to cover holes but dont really like it rather just make the speed holes I was talking about.
