I have used the new 1350A controller twice now, and it seems great so far.

 

Will take me a few more uses to get used to it and the adjustments i guess.

 

With my 3000kv flexi i have dropped my time 0.3 seconds and there would be more in it for sure.

 

With my 6500kv flexi there seems to be some cogging, was running 11/36 now its 11/39 and it seems to be better.

 

Maybe its just me and im not ever going to get used to the faster cars haha.

 

So far overall i am happy with the controller.

 

However, i bought a 30cm usb extension cable so i could have that cable tied to power module and unplug the control from that extension lead and less risk of damaging the module.

 

For some reason though the brake does not work, the brake wont activate at all and the car will go by itself, take the extension cable out and everything works fine.

 

Not sure why, the cable was sold as high speed data and fast charging.

Well, Damian, Mid-America's documentation Does say;

 

 

Just because the controller utilizes USB connectors, is No guarantee it uses generic USB wiring standards.

yep i read that, as long as the cable used has all pins are wired up it should technically work as just a short extension.

 

Seems the cable i bought was not such a cable.

 

Will try another one next time I'm there if it does not work then never mind all good i guess.

 

I'm still super happy with the control.

With respect, I'd suggest Mid-America is NOT using a Normal USB Wiring convention !!

As suggested, just because it utilizes USB connectors, does NOT mean it follows the Normal USB computer wiring conventions.
