No, I went all over the place & placed them in the order they read best. From left to right are 4-16D, 1-13D, & 1-B-can.

On which chassis? The one in posts #12 & & #26? Then no, the front axle is held in place with a "double L" on each side.

There is a lot of subtle sophistication in the details of how this chassis worked. It was really quite advanced for its time. A real credit to the members of this club. Here we go:
1 Lead wire is quad Japanese earpiece wire like 20 ga equivalent
2 The rear axle is in a tube with uprights, pillow blocks, but connected by a tube, somewhat like a modern wing car. No evidence of bearings or oilites
3 The motor is solid to the chassis, no flex leading to hopping. There is multiple bracing motor to chassis.
4 The pans are not floppy, but have cross bracing like a lifter car. There are hinge pivots on the end of the plumber rails.
5 The plumber is spring loaded
6 The pin tubes are raised up for more meat from the body bottom to pin opening
7 The chassis is an iso fulcrum, the hinge is under the rear axle tube. And another in front of the motor. This is along with a drop arm pivot
8 The motor had to be shortened to fit between the tires and gear, as well as the wheel hubs
9 The motor is can drive
10 The arm is a G20 in a non wing body on a tight road course
11 The guide lead is huge compared to the wheelbase

If you look really really hard, you can see the flatstock axel/motor bracket.

The center of the frame hinges down from the back pivot. Iso-fulcrum.

A) plumber hinge. So the frame rails are soldered to the plumber hinge?
B) drop arm hinge
C) front wheel hinge
D) I'm seeing this hinge so I take it that the frame rails hinge here and are soldered in front.
Just started setting up the chassis jig, didn't have time to call Roger for the brass and wire.
Intricate little thing, isn't it? But, you can't get much cooler than this!

Yes I think this is correct. What you can’t see is how much movement there is with all the hinge interaction.

The location of the 3rd one down from the top looks like a solder joint to me.

Build it as you want. I see solder connecting the brass pieces there, but nothing that looks to be a hinge pin.

Man oh man, I think that wonderful chassis belongs in the Smithsonian!
