I must of been on "worth point" 50 times, but never signed on and found what its worth? Has anybody used it and been given an answer to what is worth.

I have only used it for pics.

Have been missing something.     So what is it worth according to them?

I don't have an account Mart a subscription is needed for value, but value isn't their opinion, its actual SOLD prices of previous auctions (not just ebay)

Ya I get that, if it sells for $1000 its worth $1000.  That's not an opinion, you are correct, its just the facts.

I do not know anybody that signed on to Worthpoint, do you?

We should have a blog post called  $old for ?

Look what Matt B just found, It clearly shows MDC owner showing off, samples of the MDC BAT? at a trade show, June /July 1966.

Good intentions here.

Just another look into the past to add to the Bat story. Thanks so much Matt for spotting this.

Notice the name on the paper, Robert Schleicher, he wrote the book "MODEL ROAD RACING HANDBOOK"

Great book BTW.

Well its getting close to that time of the year when we start thinking about cars named Bat and chassis called skeleton.

I wanted progress with my winged Bat car.

I wanted to see for real, a movable rear wing (ala Chaparral 2C) a bigger side scoop to get more air the motor area. Flared wheel arches to give the car a full 3.25" Track width. Door lines have no purpose at this point as you (in theory) could just lift the canopy and step in.

I probably will also flare the front arches also. I like this shape of this arch, a bit more interesting IMO.

Let me know your thoughts. There are so many of these bodies around I felt it would be fine to experiment with one or 2.

Martin, I believe you have out batted the Batmobile! Love the backend ... it's sort or what a Ferrari 250 Lusso might have looked like if it had wings, no rear window and drag slicks.

Thanks Larry, to continue with the Barris Batmobile theme. I did photo shop a few red pinstripes to see what that could look like.

Still have to flare and lower the front wheel arch and figure a way to keep the side filler, or do I?

Here is another view of what the front end could look like. Not happy with the pinstripe around the chrome gas cap. But that's one of those things that will develop once in 3D.

Thanks for the input Ernie. Nice to have a discerning eye to look the design over.  Better than working in a cave, even if it is a Bat Cave. :D

Once I put the body on the chassis I realized that as I have widened the rear the front would look best widened to match.

This is just ruffed in to get started so hard to tell where I am going.

Not great pics, sorry about that.

Its funny just looking at these pics lets me see I need to raise the flare higher on the body?
