Entry Fee's
Stock Car, F1, & Can-Am - $15 per class
Retro Coupe FK - $33 (includes 1 handout motor). Additional motors will be available for purchase.
We are running both GTC Pro and Amateur. Both will be a hand-out motor. If six or more pros attend, then we will run them separate. If not we will combine both and score them separately. We have awards for both divisions.
Track thus far has been crazy good.
Braid depth is around .060" due to the braid that was removed being almost three times thicker than what is available today. Do not fear, a .032" brass spacer and .010" spacer seems to be the magical spacing for most chassis. We have plenty of the spacers. We would advise against using the Mid-America weighted guides unless you narrow them. There are a couple tight corners where we have seen them bind unless you sand them.
Track power is preset at 13.6 - 13.7.
If you arrive early Monday or Tuesday and want to stop by, let us know as one of us will be there putting the finishing touches on everything.
We are making dust one last time this evening, cleaning the track Tuesday, and gluing it by Wednesday morning. Each lane will have 100 break-in laps on them by the time the track opens Wednesday at noon.
If there is anyone on the fence about coming, and possibly needs a place to stay, we might be able to help. No promises, but there are possibilities.
If you need anything, have questions, you can call me. I am slammed with my normal career, but if you leave a message, I will call you back.
