I tried to add a post to an existing PM. I too chose the [send anyway] button too. It didn't post to the existing PM thread, but I have no idea where it went. I'm seeing this message here "This form is not secure. Autofill has been turned off." I saw the same message on my PM post before getting the [send anyway] button & sending it to never-never land.

Guys, I'm pulling my hair out here. Slotblog now has a valid SSL certificate but the problems persist.
I am continuing to work with my web host and the fourm software vendor to resolve these issues. I beg for your patience.

Seems to be getting better. I'm able to login and read my messages. I wasn't able to do that until today.

My connection appears to be back to normal, no warnings of any kind.

My sincere apologies if my 'suggestion' complicated things
... my intentions WERE Not to create any Long term Annoyances ...
or ..... issues ...
When We took over the two forums my recently passed friend had been running, they were (surprisingly), in quite a slight Mess Security wise and also had multiple effective addresses.
Similarly, it took a while to refine and remove the www's and to eventually resolve the new https:// address.
It does and can take a while to propogate itself effectively for everyone around the world to be able to log-in,.. is hard to put a definitive time on it ![]()
I was Not able to log-in until this evening,... so was annoyed with myself for possibly helping to create the situation I was struggling with myself,..
Once it is all setup, it should Not continue to be a Problem into the future ..... least I hope not
Clearing the Cache should work and there is always the 'Ctrl + F5', which in Windows and 'Cmd + Shift + R' on a Mac, is in effect a Hard Reset and will force the Browser to Load the Page Without using the Stored information.
Hopefully everything will be all 'Tickety-Boo' now ![]()

Stoo,
No problems, my friend. Just took a couple of tickets with our wonderful web host.
The part that is so annoying about this is that actions by others caused the problem; nothing was changed at Slotblog.
But Slotblog is two full versions out of date on the IPBoard software and this issue may cause me to undertake the very painful and expensive upgrade process. We'll see...

Ahhh, yes, that was also the issue with my friend's forums and one of them he had half applied some updates to that caused us no end of grief!!
Is probably worth doing though, as leaving it for too long (version wise), can introduce its own set of issues. ![]()

Stoo,
Unfortunately to upgrade to the latest IPBoard version is going to take a least a week (and maybe longer), as the SQL database has to be translated to a longer 'UTF word.' And much more expensive (isn't everything?) in terms of the software cost.
Several of the reasons I have been holding off.
