The 'Vette looks gennie, but there are several shops building retro-mod type clones that from the outside can't be told from the originals. At the latest Barrett-Jackson auction, I remember at least three of the repro's. Underneath, they are all newer Corvette running gear, so more road friendly. And if wrecked, you are not loosing an irreplaceable original.
That T-bucket is just like I wanted for the Hot Rod Magazine "Power Tour". Never was able to work that in with all the other stuff I was doing. Restoring cars, airplanes and boats. Vintage racing. Model railroading, R/C cars, boats and airplanes. Playing in bands. Just had to be doing something all the time.
