Greetings, can anyone help me with mounting tips when you don't have a jig? When I last was racing, there were a couple of guys who would sell pre mounted bodies, but that ship has sailed, and besides, the new flexi chassis have their own idiosyncrasies (thank God for spell check). Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I made my own tools for body trimming. The brass thing works like the JK tool for doing cut lines and the plastic washers are used as a templates for tire holes. I cut the tires holes with curved scissors and then finish them up with a Dremel sanding drum.

 

 

If you decide to buy a jig, take a look at the one that Lanes Raceway sells.
