"Scuderia Spina" is complete. This is the real Lancer Ferrari 330 P4 PN 154 that sold for $1.54 with the interior and the head "back in the day". No decals were harmed doing this so the prancing horse is hand-painted along with the other logos.

And this one is now done... based on another one I did for Tony P some time ago.

All hail Jimmy Buffet! My "Margaritaville" Can-Am is ready to roll! All handpainted while being supported by the sponsor. Only thing you can't see is the Adirondike chair effect for the passenger seat. That's where the Lost Shaker of Salt is!

Tony P has loved this car for years... so I made him his own. It's the new True Scale Lotus 40.

Posted Image

Then, he requested a new True Scale Ferrari done in the last colors Emott ran, with the infamous "BEE" logo that stood for Brady Emott Enterprises. What a partnership!

Next we have another True Scale Ferrari for Team Spina this time in Purple Grape. That's because it's the color of good wine that Vinny is probably now drinking in celebration of his new son, Dominick! Congrats, Vinny!

Our man Ralph is in the Emott mood too, so here's his Lola T160 that will soon be sitting on a Gorski chassis for him.

And finally... the East Coast Gang will now have a NASCAR class using only Champion bodies. Here is one cut to spec. Note the front and rear bumpers must remain ( 1/4 inch) and the wheel wells will be cut out. We will be running them on the Can-Am chassis. So it's merely a body change.

So as the "Tech Meister" I get to be the "Big Bopper" and with that in mind my wife said do one of those lace things and have it sponsored by "Chantilly Lace". PdL should be happy... it's French lace.

I am myself planning to use the Dynamic / Electric Dreams Lotus 40 at a race very soon... I tested it and it works just fine. And it IS period-korrekt, eh!

I went to the True Scale web site and, for whatever reason, seemed unable to even FIND any bodies to order. THIS LINK at least shows the bodies. But when I go to the online store at THIS LINK, clicking on the links on the left (Retro Can-Am) shows nothing!?

Of course, I see the message that Victor is on vacation, but I would have thought he'd still allow orders to come in(?). Maybe not.

I tried to go there too this morning and it does seem to be inactive for orders. Weird.
