Seeing that Sano car again is great -- but still nothing like seeing it in person. I really enjoyed the way you combined the F1 and Can-Am elements in one body.
The pic below is a sample of my "logo" for the car you are painting for me. Feel free to post it, as well, either in progress or when you have it finished.
Please note that the "mph" logo, the business sponsor name, and my "driver" name are separate elements. I just combined them in one JPEG to save bandwidth. Adapt them as needed, for instance, if you want to do the business in script, or something other than sans serif. I'm sure it will look sano.

So you paint all of this underneath? How does it hold up after being crashed?

I ran my Noose body in a race and the same car is still raceworthy.
We have kind of lost the tradition of running a really good-looking body on a race car knowing that it wouldn't last. Racers like Noose, Jack Beers, and Foamy often show up on a regular basis with very nice-looking cars. As time goes on they provide inspitration for others. (A lot of other racers also run bodies painted by these people.)
If you look at the magazine cars from the 1960s, the fast cars also looked great.

Having looked at a post containing screenshots of the rules for the MCS series, a high degree of detail was MANDATED for the cars.If you look at the magazine cars from the 1960s, the fast cars also looked great.
Apparently, they were "model cars" first and slot racers second.

My belief was, and always will be, that a car can look realistic and/or great and still be fast.
While my driving sklills are a bit rusty (hey, 40 years off will do that) I do remember how to set up a car and tune it. I usually have someone that I know is a great driver run mine for a test, as I did with Matt Bruce last week and he was turning great times.
The one series I loved the most growing up was the NAMRA series because, thanks to the great Jose Rodriguez, cars that were raced HAD to look like cars. OK... so not everyone can paint to the kind of level of me, Bloom, Kovacs, and now Mr. Watson. Doesn't matter... make them look like cars. That is the rush for me.

Vinny's "Spina Sea Breeze" Nascar is all done. Unfortunately he doesn't have a tire sponsor for this Sunday's race. I did this one for Vin in celebration of his new son. I figured the Sea Breezes he likes to drink caused the situation.
