D-main and it was one of the best for me!
We had five rides in this main and one move up, the cars.





Left to right we have, Mark Franco, Tex, Stork, Jeff and Mike L.

Both Terry, Craig and Jerry drove a heck of a race, and I was just lucky to avoid all of the traffic!
Terry, thanks for giving me a break when I needed one.

A-main:

Philippe race a great race but made one mistake, he did not change his motor moving into the A-main.
This A-main was one of the best I have seen in a long while, top notch racers.
Due to the intensity of this race this one will be a little bit longer then the other coverages.

Part II of A-main:







Finally the race results:



Congrats to the podium hogs and thanks for a great show.
First we have Alex, Jonathan and Duran.
Duran had some technical issues and lost some ground but stay in the top three.



Mr Henry was enjoying the show as well.



Well there you have it like Terry is showing.



Thank you to all the racers that showed up for this three day event and the staff of S.C.R.R.A and the staff of BPR to make sure that every thing was running smooth.

I've finally recovered sufficiently and caught up on laundry, yardwork, and work-work. First, a big THANKS to both Debbie and Jim Watterson for making me feel welcome at their track! My prayers go out to Debbie for her recent surgery. And kudo's to the Watterson's for the grub on Saturday... I had TWO PLATEFULS! Thanks to Bryan for all his help. He allowed me to ship my junk to his shop and he loaned me a couple of slot boxes for use during the WSC. Thanks to Philippe for being a charming SCRRA host... very warm and friendly. Thanks to Craig Correia for all his help and advice and for arranging for me to use one of Barney's motors for the R-P race. Thanks to Barney for the R-P motor and advice. Thanks to Mill for his help and advice regarding the flat track. I feel like I let you down with my flat track performance; I'll do better next time... after 1000 more laps. Thanks to "Doctor John" and Stork for allowing me to try out a motor they'd done 4.4's with... only to discover I was no faster with it than with my own motors; at least I found out where the weak link was... ME! It was great meeting everyone... Haruki-san, Al Thurman, Dan Ruddock(hold that DR30 for me... I'm working a deal!), T.J. Albu, NESTA(!), Jeff Bell, Oscar Morales, Mr. Forsythe, Jay Henry, Tom (the)Fiddler, Gary Donahoe, Jeff Easterly, Mr. Franco, the Blingster, MIKE BOEMKER(my first supporter on Slotblog!), Foamy("Why is this guy shaking my hand?"), Mark Wampler, Termite, Alex Freund, Terry Schmid, Tore Anderson, John Cukras and Dennis Samson(first met at the first Sano). If I left anyone out... sorry, I'm old and beer-sodden. I hope to make it back to BP someday. VERY tough competition; but that's who one should want to test themselves against, right? Thanks Bryan! But it was the Can-Am where I did OK, not Retro-pro. I had a great time in the Can-Am but in RP I started on black and it was a parking lot under the bridge. I hammered the RP car in heat 1 and limped to the finish well behind... As I said earlier, the weekend was fun and thanks to Oscar for the nice car...

That screenshot of the D-main is misleading. As shown, 3 of us finished on the same lap(296), but the order on the track between us 3 was different than what the computer showed. Dennis Rios was 3rd, I was 4th and Nesta 5th. Only a 5-lap spread from 1st to 7th; I think that was the best race I've ever competed in.

Yeah, that was hard work--I don't think I got the lead 'till heat 6 or 7 when Nesta crashed. It was so close from top to bottom that one mistake would loose you 2-3 places...

Well Mike you are so right about this, you got around me in the 7 heat when I was on red and gave away my two lap lead to you guys.
I should have just coasted but as you know I'm a rooky still.
Still glad that you got on top and that Mark Franco got a good finish as well I can live with defeat.
