Sorry to here you got a ticket! but its nice to know they don't just pick on out of state cars only, gotta love oHIo. I am using a seprate car battery with a small charger on it but I will try a power supply I have that is about 17 volts and see what happens? Having a Trackmate timing system now makes the lap counter more of a novelty, but it would be nice if it worked better cus its fun to hear it go clack clack clack. I will let you know how it works. Are you into retro racing? We are having at MRRA retro warm up race at my track in late August.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I got stopped one time coming back from vacation in a rental car with out of state plates. When he saw from my driver's liscense I was from Ohio, he let me off with a warning. Not doing the retro thing for now. I mostly run home set stuff on plastic track. I like it laid back and low key.

I just found out there is an American Orange track alive and well and in good hands of a private individual here in Oklahoma. So please add that to your list of survivors.

Here's the latest compilation of remaining American tracks:
IN - (1) Aristocrat (in storage?)
OH - (2) Blue Kings, (1) Aristocrat, (1) Orange Monarch (in storage?)
There is a Aristocrat "set-up" and being ran on in South Bend.... I know of none in storage unless someone else does
Where is the Aristocrat in Ohio??? There was one a Northcoast Performance, but I think it was lost in a fire and then later replaced with a "modern" hillclimb.

Mike, Thanks for taking the time and effort to provide this list.
With that I ask, Does anyone know what happened to the Red Emperor that was in NJ?
Bob..... there were only 4 Emperors ever built........ one was in Colorado, one at Buzzy's, 2 went to Europe. All were yellow delux construction.
The one that was in Colorado IIRC.... the Late Rocky said was destroyed.
Do you have a pic of this "Red Emperor"????

I raced on that Orange both in Niles and Girard. IIRC, it was an econo-model.
Larry, do you know the name of the raceway where the (Slot Shop?) Orange is?
I believe it is Speedway Slots...
I know Bud Bartos races there.

Thank you for the confirmation on the Orange. I'll fix the list as soon as the forum will let me.
And the NCP Aristocrat still exists!

Bob, do you mean the track in Linden? I thought that was a mr. Raceways... Same track was at center bowl in hillside nj.
Tony, That American from Closter NJ's original store.
I found only one other person on here so far that remembers it. Jim Cunningham.
Till Jim confirmed being there and confirming all the tracks and the floor plan, I was starting get convinced it was all a dream.
The only thing I was mixing up was the color of the figure 8. Closter's American was Purple (both stores) and Zep's was Green. I had that backwards.

Scott at PCH (Slotblog Advertiser) says there are one or two Oranges in storage in CA. I don't know if it's the same one on your list or not. Might give him a call.
