"Balls-Out California Choti Proxy" official rules

Another Blacklight body... Now there's a thought. That would suit my chassis design as it has the same wheel base and guide length.
Ray, I'm not trying to copy a Choti body, but to design an original thingie which is swoopy and with some downforce (hopefully) in the spirit of the Choti bodies. I'm not sure what you mean by low in the middle and high at the sides. The middle of this body is just 5mm off the track and is pretty much sitting on the chassis top. Unless you mean the nose, in that case let's put it down to aesthetics and artistic licence as J suggests. As for the sides (wings), I played safe with the height of those following the ruckus re the one-wingy-thingy. Maybe a front elevation will help. I'll get one up when the mould is more complete.
Just mocking this up at this stage and it has revealed a few pit-falls. But I should have the first pull by the end of the week.

Logic dictates that we should have a some sort of "posting deadline" concerning the rule where all entrants have time to view all the entries. Suppose that should be about two or three weeks prior to the actual race.

No dramas, you mentioned 'deadline' and it got me thinkin, 'when is it?' That's all.
Jairus, that sounds good.
I reckon the cars should be built, tested, and dispatched to you by the end of August to allow for any shipping dramas. At least for us out of towners.
So... how about cars need to be posted on SlotBlog by August 27th, then a week for people to check'em out and tire kick'em.
Gives us about 2 months.

My question to the artist here! Was the paint job what you had in mind? Now THAT looks period correct! And you managed to tie in the pink gear nicely Brian. Way to go!
But you are not the first...
Thanks, JHW...I forgot we were counting on you to be the first. Ok, I'm the first person after you! Too bad it won't be that way on the track?! (smack talk)
hahaha!
