Jairus, will there be a large poster available of this artwork? I want one...!
-Max
First artwork for the poster. Not exactly sure what else should go on it other than a bit from the rules list I suppose.
T-shirt artwork is next.

My first attempt at chassis assembly ended in failure. Everything is unsoldered and being cleaned up for another try. Just want to be sure its all square and good to go.

Please opine, approve or challenge this proposed entry design.
Some minor bracing is to be added at the motor box and tongue, basic stuff, piano wire braces and body pin mounts at the front.
Understanding that would require a re-submit .... If the basic design is voted a 'no go' I don't want to spend any more time on it.

I don't see anything "illegal" about it.

As an aside and not to legalize or justify Bob's chassis, but another Bob, (Rule I believe) in 1969 showed up with a chassis that had a large front end like that forward of the guide. I have the magazine around here somewhere.
But, that said, I did leave the rules pretty open on chassis design.
But.... we have yet to see chassis designs from any of the innovators out there like Tony P. That has me a little curious as to why?

I got back 'in' with Flexi 1s in 1989, met my goal of track champ but being a 60s child I wanted a 'no such thing anymore' in-line 1/24 scale car to play with.
So I built this one. No jig -1 wire, six bends. When I got a RetroPro jig from Mike Swiss last year I was surprised how straight this thing was/is.
As PaBro asked is it 3" ---- Darn... it is 3.25 wide at the front, so It is either cut it up or build something "new and improved".
I have not heard from tony for a while about this proxy race. Think he has a lot going on with work. If he is building it will be a great one for sure.
Gotta get rolling ... don't want to miss the completed car submission deadline of 8/27/12 ... correct?
