Well .. not just one.
This is my winter 1989-1990 season built motor program. Where the hell did those 25 years go? When I came back in 2011 everything affordable came with chastity belts on and Little Puppy Dogs ruled the world.
These were built for an Outlaw Flexi arm rule only class where we could mix and match arms and setups. No BBs.
Example: Top left is a Parma S16D arm cut down to .518, bumped and tied in a Mura set-up.
Hope you enjoy.... post any questions you might have, I remember building them like it was yesterday.

Bob,
Been driving around with my trusty CB lately. But very few truckers have their ears on these days.
Sorry for the thread drift Good Buddy.

I wasn't into the CB thing like my friends in the 70s that were into their hippy van club scene.
Doug, The fact that those over the road 'truckers' took on the man and created a language of the road was the cool factor of that song for me.
While not a CB tune this one was kind of chilling for me because I hitchhiked all through the US and Canada as an 'Air-conditioned Gipsy" kid. First heard this song getting a ride in a big rig and wow did it leave an impression on a 16 year old kid.
hang on .... I'll get back to another vintage "MY Built Motor" real soon.

Sam-U-R the man winning that lot. If you didn't give me that heads up it would have been MINE
Now get your damn ears on ...
Then put it in one of your retro stock cars and you'll have a real slot car.

Got a Ferret Stock Car chassis that needs a power plant. Got a bunch of NOS Monogram Jimmy Spencer #27 McDonald's Thunderbirds. With a Contender arm it should fly.
Doug's oval should be back up so I'll give it a whirl there.

Align set-up and solder brush holders/hoods.
Notch is cut for good solder flow.
This is done on a dumbly dumb bell end bell.

That arm resembles the one in my 517. It should do the job for you!
