It's probably best to put a deadline on when the cars should be received.

I had put out a couple feelers how guys are progressing, so I could get some idea on placing a deadline.

I'm having trouble getting to finish it off with so many other things (perceived priorities by SWMBO and car club stuff) going on at the moment, and with no deadline for the Kurtis, it keeps getting pushed aside.
Pablo is right in that there has been more than enough time to build, so why don't you just pick a date that suites you and go for it.
Maybe have another race later on as well for those who don't make this race.

We'll go with June 27th for the first race.
Those cars running in it will have a slight advantage, in subsequent races, in that their big rear tires will
be "track trued".

So ... is this the time and place for talking smack .... Pablo you go first? .....

I guess I better get those bodies done.
Take your time ... or .... There goes my shot

You want smack talk, Bob ?
Hard to think of anything, since the racing is going to be very very close.
I painted my own body, how about that ?

But why are you busting on Ray and Johnny?
Bruce ... I just checked, all my gears have been stripped too ... now where is that darn axle? Put it on a piece of glass and roll it.

A note to brassrodman:
Concentrated Ghost Pepper drops are NOT LEGAL for comm juice
Bob, not "busting" on anybody for having a pro painted body.
But I will say, I think they missed out on a part of the fun of this "Fun" race by not doing the paint.
I sure did have fun researching mine, it may well have been my favorite part of the whole experience.
Learning and practicing all aspects of this hobby is just so cool.
I use Noose bodies and I use Jairus bodies and drivers all the time.
But I love to paint my own. Just don't expect straight lines

These are looking pretty good ... semi-amateur but nice. Noose / Jarius quality no way.
I took (and gave) a lot of crap on the balls out ... since there is a tendency for my humor to piss everyone off .. I'm gonna tone it down a little ... Very little
So .. back to smack lite ...

WTG, John A. Brass sheet and some floating body mounts. Simple and I'll bet it works great.
Bob S. I wish I could help. The Radio Shack minitorch flame can be adjusted with the same hand that holds it. Let me know if you need one.
