The Kurtis Indy car is a great looking body. If the concept of a proxy series for these cars breaks out of Chicagoland, and finances permit, I'd be happy to organize a round at North London.

I'm afraid I will have to bow out as an entrant. I don't believe it is fair to enter since I have
been so central to the developement of this car. I have had a big head start on everyone else.
I would be honored to act as a driver for the Chicago leg, though.

This proxy looks great. Do you folks know about IndyCals? They specialize in Indy decals (duh), have a whole series for the roadsters. I've used their decals on 1/32 cars and they are very nice, especially their imitation gold leaf.

PS Is there a start date for this proxy yet?

I need some feedback from the entrants on a good month to run the race.
I personally am not in a hurry and see guys are still trying to get their Lucky 13 done.

The Lucky 13 proxy was announced in November of 2012. Four months is more than enough time to build a car, IMO.

What was the body doing that required this ?
Paul Wolcott

So far I haven't had any body issues, other than a small rip in the nose of the first car I built ( the black one ).
It came off the straight on the King going full boogie and hit the support under the deadman. It ended up in the
"hole" and I was real apprehensive of what it was going to look like when I fished it out. But other than the nose
of the body being punched in, everything was in tact. The interior and pipe was still there.
I have seen Pablo's car in person, and it looks super.

On retro F-1's there is very littlle of the body hanging
off the back of the car
On the Kurtis cars there is 2 inches off the back
I'm planning on some protection for the guide also....
Btw the rtr lead wires are to stiff
