The chassis really scrubbed up well after its bath ,those tumblers are really quite useful!
Good luck in breathing some life back into the poor looking motor.

For all of you hardcore vintage guys, I am so sorry for what I'm about to do
Do I detect Parma or Proslot hardware coming?
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

whatever works and as you have used it before with good results... Could always knock up a more "original" can at another time if ya felt like it. Always wondered about how well the old arms in other motors would work with modern brushes/hardware...
Have you found any suitable front wheels yet?

Thanks Paul, and Don, You are so right. Unfortunately, after working with this EB, I have decided to scrap it. The existing holes are hogged out way to much, and the bushing is sloppy. John Streisguth is gifting me an NCC arm for this motor, and it deserves nothing less than the best. I'll dig out a better EB from my box of vintage horrors.
Now let's see what kind of front wheels I have.........

The pair with the blind axle holes & hard rubber or plastic tires are Champions.

Nice front wheels Either as they are or maybe some nice inserts?

Paul,
The Champion wheels you had did not need new rubber... they appeared to be fine! Try to save the old tires if they are not broken, clean them up, glue them on the wheels and when the glue has set, a gentle truing will do.
Champion had matching rears for those, with blue or orange sponge rubber.

Thank You, Sir. Unfortunately, I thought it was going to be a simple matter of installing new rubber, and I ruined 'em.
I'll just go with Plan "B", the Russkit Replicas with EJ's tires.

couple of scares along the way I see Paul ! No wonder you were
Glad to see the corner has been turned and its all coming together nicely. Those front wheels are they the smallest of the Riggen replicas? Plus did you true those tires right down from the earlier picture or find smaller ones to fit?

Thanks for asking, Paul.
I have many friends here to help me, and plenty of resources to draw from. I may appear to be in distress, but I'm not
Thanks for the encouragement !
The front wheels are Russkit Replica wheels with EJ's tires.
The blue rear wheels are exactly what came off the original car; I trimmed them about 10 thou OD, and about 20 thou width, then cleaned them up with lighter fluid and Love Lotion.
