Rick, no need to start over... hopefully PB will realize the errors of their ways and change their policy for the better.

For my "Team RAM" motor I decided on a red wrinkle finish paint. The can is prepped and ready for paint:

The finish was very flat with no shine at all:

I decided to add a few coats of Duplicolor automotive clear gloss coat along with the gold labels:

Time to assemble the roller..........

I'm going to give new life to some sorry Cox wheels:

A quick trip to my micro-bead blaster and.............

RAM%20Maverick%2013.jpg

..............they look good as new. They still make terrible wheels but a bit of turning in my hobby lathe..........

RAM%20Maverick%2038.jpg

................they make great wheel inserts along with some Cox knock offs and a coat of Testors Clear Gloss Lacquer:

I really like the way those rejuvenated Cox wheels work as inserts. I'd been wondering how to use the ones that weren't capped. Hadn't thought of using a small threaded bolt with the knockoffs, then painting the center. I suppose something similar could be done with the taper-lock wheels by cutting off the axle ends. Thanks for the tip.
