Coolness. Not a ford guy but I do like Fairlanes and Falcons. At 1:29 you can hear him hitting the limiter.

 

Never had a limiter on my drag cars. I usually let off when a rod came through the block See my post #683

 

Bob, I guess put my Willy's in the rail class, HHO in Exhibition and the Dodge in Wheelstander if that is correct in your book.

 

I just realized I did not get my Ramcharger done in time to match race Don. Sorry to all about that.

 

I was thinking I could go heads up just for fun with my Dodge against his. Put a rubber band around my drop arm so she doesn't wheelie or leave it as is. Of course, that's if somebody there feels like doing it.

 

Man, I'm starting to feel like the first time I took a girl to the Junior High dance

 

My Italian friend stole a jar of his old mans homemade wine for my first dance.

Joe, Have to say "hitting the chip" is kina like what happens after the Senior High dance. To feel the car 'nose over' then shift and pull back up is a thrill.

The MSD box 'puts out random' cylinders and sounds real funky good.

Oh and it appears the mail website was telling small little lies, a box containing our padlock warriors was delivered

So Bill and Co can now stare in wonder or at the unique designs .....

Guys that haven't had the opportunity to test will be giving special attention ..

And ..... I'm one of them.  

 

It's only fair to the guys that 'don't' have a track nearby. We will do everything we can if there are any   ish  slot poppers in the field.

The beetle should be fine , although with more grunt it's behavior may of changed!

Tonight the cars received thus far got opened, teched, and stored at The Raceway in Melbourne, FL.  Race Time Saturday at 11AM...

Great cars guys, .. you should be proud.

 

There we about 20 guys on site for regular weekly oval and hillcimb racing and some drag racers coming in just to check out the all the vintage buzz. Most of the drool marks were wiped off ...

Cars were packed great and arrived with a minimum of damage ..

The Corvette body will be re-glued as the posts separated from the shell. Not a biggie.

Ronald's head came off, (ISIS?  )  ...  it's been 'reattached', he is doing fine and is set-up looking out the window at the McDonalds drive-thru just across the parking lot.  .... feels right at home.

 

None of the cars were tested today.

I looked'em over and I think some will need a bit of .....um... assistance to avoid 'slot-poppin'....

Joe your A/FX 'pops the slot wheelies' standing still,  I'll move some weight around.

 

Other than that it's add a weight here and a drop of glue there...  I think...

 

The 'regularly scheduled' drags are tomorrow night and we'll be testing, tuning and making sure the cars stage right and record times.
