Doing a complete house cleaning/rebuilding of the house for my first daughters wedding in 9 days. You know the drill.
Found these under a pile of stuff. Two more of my cars. Man these are starting to look old
"64 Nova, 355 small block, 2 660 center squirters on an Edelbrock Pro Ram, Huge Racer brown roller cam, Muncie M-22 crash box with a Verti-gate shifter, Dana 60 with 488's, Super trick wheels etc. If you look closely you can see the trophy on the hood.
Olds is a '69 442 legit W-30 car. One of 1100 made. Can you say Smothers Brothers?455 Olds Toronado 400 HP Hi tin block, steel crank, factory hydraulic cam etc, T-10 4 speed, Olds rear with 430's, factory Ram air functional ( worth 3 tenths!) This car flew for what it was. Mid 11's on all motor. You can see me leaning forward, friggin torque monster ( more than a 426 Hemi ) would really set your *** back in the seat. Actually had to hold on coming off the line. Surprised a lot of big block Chevy and Mopar dudes How can an Olds be that fast they said. Remember this was over 20 years ago.

Last post for today I hope.
Paul, LOVE the Pincher
Just thought you guys would like to see two of the hot shoe tuning tips from back in the day.
The Reedtach for motor tuning and the famous "WISSH" spray that was a drag staple for guys like Braverman and Hustings.

Update:
Bill did not receive any additional mail in cars today.
All cars were put on track.
Most ran just fine but there is an issue with staging/timing (S/T) with the dyed Dynamic and Jet flags.
What? ... That's what I said when it all started because it is happening mostly on cars that you guys have tested at your local. There are a couple of natural flags in there too.
The Cox, Rannalli, Parma Graphite are all fine ... crazy right?
When the cars get Mylar foil and they work.
So ... with some 'detective' work here is what I come up with. Since the last Rods and Rails .. unbeknownst Bill and Steve swapped out the LEDs and put in and new and improved infrared LEDs ... they 'shine' right through a "jet black Jet flag".
That has to be it ... It was making me crazy until I got the news of the swap.

Paul, Only one slot popper as far as added weight being added.
I might fill the no show positions with some vintage rods brought in by locals, they'll go in Exhibition classes only and not be in the final "Rods and Rails" only run-off.
There is lots of plaques to go around with all those mail in cars missing.

Great news and photos guys! Been more or less offline for a couple days, so just thought of checking in this morning.
Hope I wasn't the slot popper, although I do have a tradition to uphold...
Looking forward to seeing all the results - have fun guys, and thanks to all the local driver for your help!

I can tell you, the drivers were such in awe, for more than 2 hours they could hardly pay attention to the race director and Gator Bob. Drool isn't the word, but if the cars smell like pizza when you get them back its Bill Pinch's treat. Kudos to Gator Bob, race director Steve Bowman (who directs the friday night drag program), and The Raceway.biz owner Bill PInch. Most wins goes to Bad Bill - no surprise there, but wait till you see the real surprises...
Some of the best vintage drag cars graced Melbourne, FL today...pics and results soon.

Wait till you see which car won the "Rods" class overall title ... WTG !!!
Kenny Snodgrass was at the controls. Killer light too and Kenny took the 'Light Money" with a .002 reaction.
