I've not met Edmalyn yet, but is Brian OK with you talking about running her Hardbody around the place. :D

Good luck, Mike. I hope that you are able to have people help you to make the move and get everything up and running, as I know the feeling of moving.

We had to do the same thing over the off season, and it's no fun, also long hours to get everything set.

We are also getting a drag strip, and we also changed our name from J & B Raceways to Race O' Rama Hobbies & Raceways.

I'm happy to report that my landlord and I agreed to terms on a lease extention, earlier today, that will keep me in my current location, at least until April, 2019.

Big thanks to all for the nice comments and all the likes in post #215.
 
I don't take any of the positive encouragement for granted.
 
Just like I don't take for granted my customers who make this all possible.
 
Rent isn't cheap in an area like mine, so all those customers are all necessary.
 
Kudos to my locals, who are extremely patient during race days, when I have rentals to tend to on the other track, or birthday parties to book.
 
Also for the effort everyone makes to encourage the newer racers and help get them up to speed.
 
And of course, to the guys who help me develop my new products.
 
Of special note is our nicely developing Wednesday night Group F Wing program.
 
Bernard Powell gave it a jump start, with lending out a whole fleet of cars, and Michael Iga has since, gotten everyone up to speed, offering his wing car expertise, with great building and advice.

I'm happy to report that my landlord and I agreed to terms on a lease extention, earlier today, that will keep me in my current location, at least until April, 2019.


From the time, seven months ago, when my landlord and myself came to a verbal agreement, and I posted the above, until today, when I actually signed the extension, I cranked up my considerable charm to "11." and convinced her to lengthen the extension to three years, instead of two.

Why do I post publicly on matters like this?

Because when I first opened, almost 12 years ago, I had a few people coming in, complaining that a local raceway sold them RTR cars, one weekend, but not mentioning they were closing in the next few days.

I'd say, I currently get about 5-10% of my customers, who are going to buy a car, or make some sort of reasonable financial committment, ask me for some reassurance that I'll still be in business in the future.
