One for the showcase at Holly Hill. 3 rail tripod with center pan. 1 rail of .063 and 2 of .047. Standard 4" WB .90 GL. Should work very well on Holly Hills Track as well as the hill climbs in the GRRRR series.image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Sold my good Holly Hill can am car and regretting it as it won our last 2 GRRR canam and gtc race so I had to build up something for a replacement. This was done on the Beaver F1 kit to get a 3/4 wide center section. c3b5ece482dc0a268fab649dd84fb15e.jpgdaee6c4c0a6f550d7d121e307907cdc9.jpg

Tony I love the floating center and rear pans on this one!! You are still the best at creativity and innovation IMO! Don't know about the other chassis builders out there but I can stare at these pictures for quite a while and am always amazed at the workmanship and how symmetrical they are.

Mike beat me to it I was just about to comment on those little rear pans on this chassis.. I agree with mike about your creativity and workmanship.

How does it handle?

Eddie I haven't run it yet next week at Holly hill. My car I had been using there with good results was basically the same just with a non kit nosepiece. The split rear pans are just something I'm fooling around with. Something jerry Brady did on his bee center section angle winders that I always wanted to try. Just a way to have some rear weight but not have it solid.

DOCinCocoa tels me he did nicely with his Duffy-built WAR BEAVER F1 in the GRRR event this weekend at P1 Raceway, Winter Garden FL; he placed first, followed by (newly-transplanted) Gary Clinton II and Tony P. Pretty cool.

The war beaver article car is finally done. Mr. Noose did the third part of the article on body mounting and now the car will be sold off here in the blog. Someone is going to get a good race car.

I built this for the Holly Hill Christmas get together next weekend. the track is basically a flat track infield with a Daytona shaped oval section.

I used the new Duffy 7/8 bracket and .032 guide tongue. Pans are the Duffy gtc pieces while the center plate is from the F1 kit. Main rails are 6 of .039. 58 grams..image.jpeg image.jpeg

This has been without a doubt the best all around frame I have ever had.  It works everywhere.

King Track Beaver for Mr. Noose. 49.8 grams.

Brian has been using the latest Tony P version with what Tony calls "The Split Rail".  I also have one and it is fantastic.  My understanding is the one Brian has has won 5 straight CanAm races.
