Tested both the enduro chassis and the 9 rail beaver on the hill climb at Bill pinch's shop today. The enduro chassis with a Parma Lola was damn good and may wind up as my gtc car for next weekend. The beaver 9 was exceptional. Motor was light on brakes but it was probably the best car I have run on that track. Came up the donut and turned on the straight punched. Nice when things work out like you planed. Lol.

Nice!

That's a trick, more noticeable with in-line ...it's like the car is hard to get settled between the exit of the donut and the entrance to the kink. If your car is good there, noticeable time can be made up.

Just my observation ...

attachicon.gifIMG_3955.jpgattachicon.gifIMG_3957.jpgGTC For Mr. Noose.

Best Coupe I have had in a long, log time.  Could have used some extra HP from my handout motor in the race.  Testing with some already run had me right there.

War Beaver F1. Built up one of the finished kits today. Easy and fast to build. Basically the same as the one I test several months ago. Probably the easiest chassis I ever built. Took as long as "the Fly" with Vincent Price I was watching. So I guess 90 minutes or so.

Tony,

Have you built this F.1. chassis for flat track use?

I'm going to try it at holly hill which is as close to a flat track as we have. I ran the prototype several months back on that track and it was very good with a crappy body mount and a rushed setup the morning of our race.

If anyone is interested now that the 5th retro east enduro is over Mr. Noose has given me permission to sell the prototype chassis. If any one is interested let me know before I stick it on face book. 125.00 shipped. The front axle is short for Samson fronts..

Sold my good Holly Hill can am car and regretting it as it won our last 2 GRRR canam and gtc race so I had to build up something for a replacement. This was done on the Beaver F1 kit to get a 3/4 wide center section. c3b5ece482dc0a268fab649dd84fb15e.jpgdaee6c4c0a6f550d7d121e307907cdc9.jpg

Update. I ran this on the hill climb in Melbourne this past weekend and it was excellent. Best chassis I had run there in a long time. I was TQ and ran with Gary Clinton on the same lap for 6 heats until I got wrecked a few times in the last 2 and wound up second. The F1 bracket and nose piece makes a good base for a Can-am. It is worth trying.
