I think it will run faster times with a front gear ratio slightly taller than the rear.....You want it to pull the car,not push it....Just like the real thing.

This is why i ran the front tires just a bit taller and my next step is try one tooth difference in the gear.

Cool ride, Joe

Love these and all Hurst cars.

I painted mine the other way around. Gold first then the black on top.

I found these two pictures of Linder V,my brother and me in silly looking shirt from a Summer Nationals event at E-Town back in the 80's when they held it in July.
There is a story behind this picture but nit now.20151018_180513-1.jpg 20151018_181124-1.jpg

Okay I found some time to pick up where I left off. I trimed down the tires by making them a bit narrower and I did a gear change hopefully to stop it from picking up the front wheels.

Now up to the interior and I found this beautiful piece from I don't know what but it is going to work out fine.
I'm using the roll bar from the kit and the wheel inserts as well.20151212_203525-1.jpg 20151212_203620-1.jpg 20151212_205736-1.jpg

I am almost finished with this project and hope to possibly race it this Friday night.
Recent progress interior painted roll bar and Driver, assembled the blowers and turned down the wheel inserts on the lath and installed the windshields.20151215_122606.jpg

Second round,I dialed in at 1.45 just in case it went faster. I had the leave and I cut a good ligth but at half track the car lifted the front wheels making a wheelie and slowing the car down and went high 1.5's and the other guy passed me and ran closer to his dile in giving him the win.

Ill get to the track on a slow day and try somthing else with the gear ratio.
