beautiful workmanship......
might need some luck keeping that rear axle aligned if a rear wheel takes a lateral hit.....

Great looking Chassis, but that looks like pillow block rear bearing uprights. Is pillow block construction allowed in IRRA. I think I remember some Slick 7 chassis that were not legal due to that type of construction. But that was a while ago. Maybe it's ok if the pillow blocks are between wire rails.
No matter it is still a work of art.

What an amazing piece of work! I'm marveling at those brilliant bearing housings and the conversion bars.
The best part is that your friend has recovered in full and back to racing.
All the best

Amazing work Akitani! Does the hinge rail slide out to add the pan for GTC or is it soldered in place?
A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

The pan hinge rail (which also serves as longitudinal stiffener) can be pulled out by removing the rear end stopper.
Solder only a small section of the stopper for easy removal and attachment.

Already did. Had to reshape them as I was mounting the body.Hmmm might want to bring those body bumpers in a bit. Look wider than 3 inches- meaning they stick out from the pans.
